Just finished watching it and it smacks of us being hit on the break through our losing possession in their half. Lost out to a cross come shot that Pickford was expecting to hit someone and he was more set for that than making the save.No need for NDong to make that challenge but PvA and Gooch fannying about leading to lost possession just plain left us exposed. Neither us nor them deserved that result.
**** happens mate.. We think teams that come to the SOL don't compete fairly, they win and we lose. If they cannot compete fairly then they should stay at home and forfeit the match in our favour. At least then we could sing 'We love you Moysey' and mean it to an empty stadium, be half way up the table and enjoy a beer for once on a Saturday, must be hard being a Liverpool fan..
Pleased with performance today. Was always going to be a big ask to get something there. We stayed in the game for the most part. Thought we got our tactics about right but we just didn't nick the goal that we needed. Decent chances for Pienaar and Watmore. Move onto to next two games and take 4 points.
Not sure precisely what you mean. When "ford" got injured, he kicked ndongs studs as Ndong played the ball. No malice and accidental. Unless you think it was a foul in which case you should just stop watching football
We kept them tied down and the best supporters in football must have felt the game was slipping away so just sat there like statues.
No doubt in my mind the MOST passionate supporters are from the North East. Can you imagine any club from the North West or London putting their fans through the constant 2hit both Sunderland and Newcastle fans have had to put up with. In the main these clubs are followed by glory seekers who jump on bandwagons. For us, its in our DNA..we have no choice. These big clubs are brands....SAFC and NUFC are still at the heart of our cities..I wouldn't have it any other way.
Moyes teams are well organised -Everton were -his organisational skills are thorough - he may get us out of this mess and up the league iirc Everton often seemed to improve during 2nd half of the season KTF
Is there sarcasm in that? Ive been to the Anfield library. No atmosphere from the home fans at all. Klopp can suck my hairy balls. To have a go at our bench when Kone plays the ball and Firmino acts like the puff he had all game (and didn't need the trainer on). He can **** right off (sorry about the homophobic word btw, but firmino was soft as ****e)
Agreed mate. I went to the match yesterday and couldn't believe how many tourists/day trippers there were in the home end. Also plenty of southern/midland accents among the L'Pool fans on the train back. I actually feel a bit sorry for the genuine local fans of clubs like that who can't really get a look-in.
Agree. My girlfriend's family are all West Ham season ticket holders (which they occasionally let me make use of) and there was always plenty of passion at Upton Park. Its a bit different at the Olympic Stadium mind.
There's only a few clubs like that though. Its mainly the internationally famous clubs, like Liverpool, that get the tourists and a smattering at the smaller London clubs.
