Ndong has to be the worst record signing any club has ever made. If you can think of a worse one let me know...
Ah well. We gave a good fight and never looked out of it/ our depth for a long while. Bit more composure up top would have helped, but no shame in losing to a v good team
Eh? He had a decent game today. Made some excellent challenges when needed, playing in a deeper role.
Wasn't a good match to suggest that PVA should play further forward, he didn't have a clue what to do with the ball when running into space and when he did his passing was awful. Decent performance from the team on the whole considering how much better Liverpool are. Anyone else think Origi's goal might have been a cross? Just didn't have the rub of the green today but it was a good effort from the lads and I was pleased to see them looking organised and well drilled, that's what I expect from a Moyes team.
Best team won. We didn't play badly, every deflection and ricochet went to liverpool from start to finish. Just one of those days. No arguments with the pen and we weren't in danger of scoring today bar Wamore's sitter. One thing I think Moyes needs to realise is that we can't defend for 90 minutes against top teams. May as well take the game to them a bit because we won't pick a single point up against the top teams playing like that. I think the officials were all round poor, particularly with the basics, I wasn't aware pushing people in the back was allowed but teams were allowed to use their hands to halt momentum throughout the game. Klopp and his bunch of groupie poncy ugly ****ing mini-me's are a pack of pricks. They disagree with the refs decision so they confront their opponents dugout area? ****ing idiots. They should get a charge for that. But we'll both probably get fined. On a side note. Firmino? They greatest female footballer on the planet. Fair play.
I'm strangely more optimistic after this match. We defended well, looked more organised than we have done. Result was expected so we move onto the next few fixtures.
I feel like that too, I think it's because we looked like a classic Moyes side (to an extent) and that's a good thing to me as it shows that a) he hasn't lost it and b) the players he currently has are capable of playing his way.
Torres to Chelsea - £50m Di Maria to Man U - £60m Stones to City - £50m Mendieta to Lazio - £30m Rui Costa to Milan - £30m This **** is easy.
Nice one Bri that is surely the worst! Just to clarify I don't dislike him or have written him off I just this in the classification of a record signing he doesn't live up to the tag If we'd paid 8m for him I'd have said that's a good deal at 10m I'd say that's where the market is right now but 13m rising to 16m possibly is just bat **** crazy. But as mentioned the market dictates the price and many 8m players are going for stupid money.
Rui Costa is a champ man legend I'll agree to the rest but I'm not having that due to his services to many great Milan side.....that I managed
Thought it was a decent performance today against a decent Klopp side.. We lost, we move on but I am a lot more optimistic about our club and admire what David Moyes is trying to do.. I would be a lot more worried if I was a Hull, Palace, Leicester, Burnley and a few others fan. In Moyes we trust.. Ha'way the Laaads..
Disappointed we did not pick up a point, I did not expect to be saying that to-day, but the way the game panned out we were in with a chance until the final minutes. Moyes declared before hand that he was parking the bus, but still played our three main front men from the start, probably due to our acute shortage of options. Leaving little strength on the bench to launch a late come back if required. However a win and a draw from our next two games is achievable and hopefully we should then see a marked improvement in our league position. I sense it is very slowly coming together, and that Moyes is begining to get to grips with the situation. Onwards and Upwards.
