Weirdest thing about that is it lists the points.... comes up with Chelsea winning the league with 71 points, Arsenal 70, City 68 and us and Spurs on 67. That's a stupidly low amount of points for a win and top 4

not sure what the stats are but pretty sure 80+ is more likely in last 25 yrs. Has 71 ever won it?

Just interested to see the working behind the stats as stats over X amount of time usually comes out close to average numbers and doubt average number of points for winner is 70 points.

Also a low winning total usually points to a high staying up total as the teams at bottom are taking more points off teams at the top but don't see likes of Swansea, Sunderland and hull getting all over 40 points for example.

Anything less than two points will be a disaster!

After Sunderland have won two games there going into this game without the importance of a must win. If they still hadn't won come us then they would be desperate which couldve resulted in a long afternoon.

‘They’ve always had really good teams, Liverpool. We’ve been competitive away from home and close to winning games,’ Moyes said in his press conference.
‘We will go there and make it difficult for Liverpool. Anybody who plays against Liverpool has to park the double-decker bus, but we also have two centre forwards scoring goals.’

Well one centre forward, really. Anichebe has just scored 2 goals, he won't add to that today.

You can bet your bottom dollar Anichebe has a game today like he's playing with neymar, messi and suarez now, after those comments

And their keeper is guaranteed to have superman game of his life time as always seems to happen against us with the bottom teams

You know what, it's nice to have that back 4 looking the same from game to game, forget up front, it'll take care of itself, it's a stable back line we've been desperate for and it's great to have one this season
