Afternoon all. I missed the excitement of Saturday (Sunday morning to me). I was spending the time yawning in technicolor or watching my children do the same. One of the children brought a bug home and shared it. It is now Monday afternoon and I'm starting to feel normal again, if a bit drained.

Looking forward to the Bristol Rovers game. It is nice to get them at a reasonable time of the day for me. I don't think that we can be disappointed about the result on Saturday but I wonder what team SD will put out at Bristol?

Morning All. Today's funny fact is music related.

The hotel here in Varna is playing " wonderful life" by Black on continuous loop. Now its a lovely tune, but you can tire of anything! Is it bcos we are on the Black Sea?

Morning all, I won't say good morning because it hasn't been so far, woken at half past five by the sound of the horses crashing through the fence into the garden from the paddock! :steam:

Morning all, I also woke rather early to see if it would soon be time for the alarm to go off, then realised that I had forgotten to set it.

Blustery with showers this morning. Somehow that sums up my Monday morning lesson. I never know until it starts if it will be one of those good, or not so good days. My suspicion is that it will pass with my mind on the plumbing I have to do later.:emoticon-0107-sweat

The plumber has turned up, having a new boiler fitted. Although whether we will be able to afford any heating oil to put it the bastard is another matter entirely!!!!

I've been toying with the idea of a new boiler too - one of the combi type - but my first quote came in at £4500 which has put me off the idea somewhat.

Am having problems with the central heating - even though it is quite clearly set to 'off', it keeps coming on. I suspect , and am worried that, come winter it will do the opposite :(

No more new player rumours yet. The Alf rumour may be wide of the mark as Celtic are apparently bidding for him according to the local press.

Morning all, major PC issues since HT on Saturday my lovely laptop just stopped working, nothing, zilch kapput! So yesterday after my nightshift came home tried to switch on the laptop and it lived<yikes> I was knackered so when I went to bed and prayed it would hole on till I could get an external harddrive to try and save my photos and music. went to my photo album, photo's had vanished :(, knew they were there somewhere so I downloaded my I-tunes and tried for hours to try and find my photos. Took the laptop to work and my colleague managed to find them so they have been transferred to the Ext HD. Even during typing this out my laptop again just switched itself off:( looks like my flexible friend is going to take a hit later and a new laptop is on the cards!

I have been able to keep up to date at work but my workstation does not allow me to post anything which is ever so slightly frustrating, to say the least! But it is time to bite the bullet, I was going to get the laptop looked at, but not sure if it is worth it!

Also depends on what you use it for , do you game on it , if not then all the more powerful processor speeds are not necessary!
Do watch dvds and stream films and sports! Then a multi media machine will suffice , Will you carry it around is portability an issue with you?
All depends what you want it for , would also have a chat with Toby , Max or one of our IT experts!
