Sexual Abuse in Football

I am afraid it was only a matter of time. We have heard stories of priests/vicars, school teachers and now football scouts/coaches. It seems to me that *****philia stretches it evil tentacles wherever children are. What sort of weirdos are in our midst? Andy Woodward looks like a broken man. I do hope that the telling of his story frees him of the terrible burden of being a victim of such a heinous crime. Good luck and best wishes to all the victims. Prayers are with you all.

I took the basic FA coaching course about 10 years ago. Child protection was covered, but in a most perfunctory way and the instructors were clearly uncomfortable with it and a bit embarrassed. No sick joking I am glad to say. Then we went back to a whole day of warm up exercises.

 

None of you even thought about this before you subjected to yet again another news story and the band wagon that will go with it

How stop being clever and shocked about life events that have happened
try and get off your arses and do something about real abuse that is happening now

This story is bad taste and you silly soda have bitten straight down on it

Sexual Abuse is by far a lot worse today than it ever was and you live in it and do nothing apart from getting shocked over a story dragged up and given the horror treatment

Stop pretending it even affects you because in truth it doesn't because you do nothing about it

 

Further reports refute the statement by Dario Gradi that he knew nothing about it. Crewe may well find themselves up to their necks in this having been warned about Bennell's behaviour.
