    And as I said in my original comment - I agreed with it where it applied to the teams initially but I think they are now overstepping the line. Why they are making an issue about fans wearing poppies and yet allow the playing and singing of National Anthems which often contain much more politically charged themes is beyond me.

    Reallly hope it shakes things up, which leads to split of FIFA.

    A dodgy football body that is riddled with corruption. Tell them to shove their world cup.

    I'm not even that bothered about poppies but FIFA seem to be going totally mental over it

    Anyone remember if FIFA had anything to say about France's mourning after the terrorist attacks there?

    Imagine entering a venue and being told you can't wear a poppy while knowing you never met grandfathers and great grandfathers because they never returned from war ....turns my fuking stomach .
