I was at Crass at Blind Institute and in my mind they played with Exploited...obviously not though. I must be remembering several gigs at once...its an age thing
Same era as OLM's list at the Tower (I was at the TOH gig) was a couple of very young bands; Depeche Mode and supporting them, Blancmange. All the gigs that I went to where very well attended with brilliant atmospheres. Thanks for the memories
I was at several in the list, but did your memory of the gig involve Exploited too? (to be fair my memory is ****e anyway)
The Poison Girls being on with Crass would make sense, the Exploited...not so much. I was always more a Crass/Poison Girl punk than an Exploited one.
Mungo Jerry definitely played I think Romeo's in the late 70's And of course.. don't forget he brilliant amazing Be Bop Deluxe at the Duke in Ferriby on multiple occasions in the 70's
I was at Crass & the Exploited, seperate gigs but my fading memory tells me an old punk mate of mines band Born BC supported at one of them?
