Murderers don't serve a whole life sentence though do they? Life should mean life. No parole.

No, you said that there were 'options' outside of the single market, that would see us continue to be prosperous, but failed to elaborate on what they actually are.

I spelt out what my opinion was, the idea that we can leave the single market and continue to progress as a Nation, given our lack of British owned manufacturing and the logistical challenges on top of the tariffs, is a noddy ideal.

The idea that fresh trade deals further afield than Europe is somehow going to suddenly plug the gap - when we've always been able to trade globally, our productivity is piss poor and our cost base is high - is the stuff of fantasy.

Investment in the UK will fall off a cliff and we'll become increasingly isolated economically.

The entire reason we joined the EEC in the 70's was because our global trade had waned to a point where we needed to increase our trade with our neighbours or crumble.

There's no way of dressing up the alternative to the single market, which is WTO tariffs and years of complicated trade negotiations, whilst our economy hits the skids, and we struggle to not only find investment, but also to retain the manufacturing and financial businesses that we currently have based here. It'll take us decades to recover (if we ever do) imo. Therefore as far as I'm concerned not retaining single market access should not even be considered, as there is no viable alternative, it's that simple.

The irony of you posting that, and it being in reply to Dull, is absolute hilarious.

Give us your detailed view on our trade position outside of the single market Kustard. Let's hear your analysis <rofl>

Some do, like the Nazi jailed the other day. He's never getting out.

If he was put to death he could become a martyr figure for neo Nazis.

Let him rot in an 8ft cell for 30 years.

What he is saying is if they commit any crime they go back inside for a ling time, as the parole will limit them to what they can do.

But yes they should stay in for life or be hung

Where am I supposed to have said that? If I did, it's typo. I said that there were options outside of the EU, which is a simple fact, but I said that staying in the single market was a better option and asked you for your opinion on what options were available outside of the EU.

    Here's the actual question again.

"Perhaps, but it's where we are, and where we move on from. Playing with the cards we've got, what's your considered opinion on how we move forward in a world outside the EU?"

Until the last paragraph, the rest of yourpost is largely waffle that points at you realising you've not actually answered the question, and trying to justify rewriting it as you have in the first paragraph I've quoted.

You claimed to have mentioned a solution, but now drag up WTO which you never mentioned before, and which you point out are probably a lesser option dependant on what other agreements can be negotiated and the state of the EU in the future. It also sticks to the EU only version, rather than other areas of trade, which was more the question.

So, you could have cut pages of ****e by suggesting the WTO arrangement and then added trade with other countries and saved us being bored ****less.

It's no good trying to play with cards we don't have any more than arguing claims that aren't made.

The news has been painful to watch lately, all these stupid ****ing "forecasts" on how much money we are gonna lose out on, and what kind of hit our economy will take.
    ****ing idiots.
How in the hell can you forecast anything until we know what kind of Brexit deal we are getting?
And we don't know because Theresa May isn't relaying any information as to what sort of deal the UK is going for.......

    Doom mongering ****tards.
They did a big piece on ITV news about what kind of **** we will be in after Brexit and then they interview the stupid bitch at the end of the video and she says "Of course this is all dependant on what kind of deal the UK negotiates with the EU upon Brexit....."
So literally the entire video we just watched is all bullshit then? Because until you know, how can you predict?

I brought up WTO tariffs in my first reply to that very question you've just re-posted, you daft ****. <doh>

I've said it many times, full single market access is essential if we're to ride this out within a couple of years.
May's idea of trying to get the 2 year period extended to maybe 5+ makes sense, but if she doesn't achieve that goal, and the 2 years end without agreement (which imo is an absolute certainty) then falling back on WTO tariffs would be a disaster for our future. As it'd result in a fall in investment to levels not seen in the modern era.

Theresa May isn't relaying any information as to what sort of deal the UK is going for as she and her band of buffoons haven't come up with a plan yet <laugh>

They've based those numbers on the current and extremely optimistic GDP growth figures - they've not pulled them out of their arse.

I can't agree with that mate.

Say you come home, find your missus in bed with your best mate, lose your rag and take a baseball bat to the pair of them!

Are you seriously suggesting you should spend the entirety of the rest of your life in a cell for that?....

Yes, you have to pay. And you'll go to jail for several years. But for the rest of your life?...
