... have you just responded to one of my posts? ... who are you kidding Melty McMeltdown ... you dedicate whole threads to me in your worshipping ... and this thread is about the knockout phase of the Champions League ... I've far more right to be here than you ... indeed ... why are you here at all?
The only avoidance here mate is that Arsenal and Leicester will avoid each other in the next round. That's **** up No1 for you. The other avoidance is that you are hopelessly trying to wum, whilst avoiding the fact that Spurs have been dumped out of the CL. That's **** up No2 for you You are also avoiding the fact that Spurs campaign was the worst performance by and English team in over 20 years, that's **** up no3 for you. Somebody get on the blower to Norris McWhirter
HIAG crying about you responding to his comments after asking you to comment. That's **** up No4 in quick succession.
Hm. Much forced manufacture of **** ups going on, here. Okay, this is the compromise I am prepared to make. By all means, Bambi, comment with personal jibes on those threads where I make personal jibes against you - that's only fair and reasonable. I have the right to do likewise. But - and here's the challenging bit for you - stay clear of personal jibes where my posts do not refer either directly or indirectly to you. Okay? The same challenge is made to you, Pixie (although I know full well that you lack both the balls or the wherewithal to accept).
... now that really did make me all but piss myself ...given Mystic Melty's predictions of how Leicester City's participation in said competition could only make English football the target for global footballing derision and mirth ....
Classic HIAG wum **** up. Predicts catastrophe for somebody else an inevitably it comes back to bite him on the arse. HIAG is destined to a life of **** ups
... he is undoubtedly a Jonah ... not only did Leicester City not succumb to the abject failure that he was predicting (and the Spuds managed) but, in stark contrast, joined Malaga as the only clubs to have ever won their group on debut but also we now hold the all time competition record for not conceding in the first four games .... I'm wondering if he's a double agent ... any signs of him actually supporting someone else?
You've changed scenario from Arsenal vs Bayern in your original comment to Arsenal vs Barca in this one. Are you trying to hedge your bets again, which one is it?
Honestly don't care mate ... a slightly lesser light gives us a punchers chance of making last eight ... one of the mega clubs gives us a phenomenal occasion ... and as we learnt last season ... you can still dare to dream, whatever the odds As long as we give it a real go ...
Yeah I see what you mean mate. Just think if you drew a smaller (but still very good) side such as Sevilla and went out... then despite how well you've done, it would be a bit disappointing to not have played one of the big boys in your stint it. Us smaller clubs dream of the glamour ties if we qualify for Europe.
Serious question, no wumming intended... What do you think would be the best way for Leicester to go out: (a) with a 1-0 whimper to Sevilla; or (b) an epic dry-humping of Biblical proportions at the hands of Real? I know which I would prefer to see, just for the sheer spectacle of it! PS: Posters other than Liebherr may reply, provided you refrain from using wummery.
Dear Lord, no! I am merely in this for the goal-fest. I'd much rather see 6 or 7 put past Leicester, than see them go out in a salutary single goal-whimper. Yes, it will be embarrassing for English football (as Arsenal have proved, time and time again), but at least us neutrals will be entertained.
... think most Leicester fans will rest easy in their beds now knowing that, despite the leap into the unknown, we have done the country proud in the UCL and helped the England coefficient... ... thank Christ we haven't done a Blackburn or a Spurs and brought shame and ridicule on English football eh?
