Some very interesting runners at Thurles. Champagne Fever, Lord Windermere, Augusta Kate.

Also a horse called Chesapeake but he isn't a bay ............ I'll get my coat.

Great to see old Fever out, class horse especially at Chelts where he just eats up that hill!Still only nine so will hopefully make the festival again and not get a love bite on the boat over like last time.

Most interesting debutant has to be Mark Pitman's unraced Sea The Stars gelding Sea Sovereign in the 3.45 at Towcester. His dam, Lidakiya, was bred by the Aga Khan and has thrown a couple of half-decent types in Lingapour (rated 91 on the flat) and Lilanda (rated 80 on the flat).

They've been having a go at Scottsdale again Oddy. I felt Brennan didn't do the horse much favours lto, perhaps thought he had more to give than he actually had. He should prove tough to beat but I won't be backing anything in it so wish your one well <ok>

Never been to Dundalk STH but did go out with a wee gal from there during my college days.Lovely girl but that accent took a while to get used to!Heard the town has a ****load of pubs so I'm sure you will find somewhere to wet your whistle! If I hear anything juicy running I'll be sure to share

Re Dundalk have been a few times. Nice little town I think. Loads of pubs, lots have excellent food. Recommend going to the bartender or the pheonix (next door to each other in the centre of town). Rum house opposite for a late bar.

Great to see Champagne Fever out again, he would have no doubt gone very close in Dodging Bullet's champion chase. He tends to shine most during the spring and i think he can be beaten here.
Roi Des Francs is my selection, the yard are going well currently and last year he had the impressive Sub Lieutenant behind twice on winter ground - that looks pretty solid form now and he was then undone by quicker ground in the spring.

For a true Del Boy story, in the 3:45 Towcester bumper, DELLS RAQUEL runs after being picked up for £600 at the sales!

    She must be hooky!

Very nice from Augusta Kate there - might she be Willie's world hurdle contender?
