Spud fans are ranting on BBC 5 live, one blubbling that Pooch has bottled a cup final, a league title, finishing above Arsenal (again) and now the Champions league. <laugh>

    Embarrassment

No other words to describe Spud capitulation. And with one game still to play in the group stages.

No suprise really. They just cant handle the big time. Maybe all those years living in Arsenals shadow, and Chelsea's as of late, has had a psychological effect on them. Rabbits in a headlight.

Nah - I think Poch will prioritize league this season to try to get top 6.

This season, before a ball was kicked I said Top 8 will be good accomplishment for Poch & Co.
They said I was wumming <doh>!

For managers like Poch - who have never done anything - you should set manageable expectations.
You set him top 10 - he might get you top 6.
If you set top 2 - he will get you top 10 <ok>

Cannot go by weird last season. Everybody underachieved and everybody overachieved.

6th is about right. Still a good achievement for a club like Spurs.

Tottenham's players lacked the quality and mentality required to reach the knockout stage of the Champions League, says boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Why do they allow small clubs in the CL anyway?

    All a waste of time
