There would be a tiny bit less bigotry and mindless blaming of an easy target. There are worse things than the Mail- its readers for a start.

Those who write laws presumably but laws are to be interpreted. One could interpret the worst of the Mail's output as intentionally incendiary. You just need to read Pete's posts to see that.

<laugh> Facts are biased against conservatives! <laugh>
Yes, that reality thing is really quite an issue for you, isn't it? Very troubling.

Is mentioning that a terrorist is of an immigrant background 'inciting racial hatred'?

It's interesting to see people see people defending the BBC that covered up for Saville and one or two other factors, like electronically doctoring peoples comments to support the Government push for war and studies showed bias on capitalism and brexit among others.

    It's an opinion.

Would it hurt for them to research their articles a bit and not go out of their way to attack specific minorities? It probably would hurt their revenue. As said above, chicken and egg.

I often find that good example of how 'facts' are spun is by the commotion over how much we send to the EU every week. Wouldn't you agree that is a case where the lines are blurred?

Why can't they point out the identities of those they do stories on?

    By the Leave mob? Yes.
There are objective numbers underneath the spin, though.

...and the possible reason they are demonised, as you call it?...

Or are you suggesting it's a lot of smoke and no fire!?...

Not necessarily, no. Blame enough bad things on immigrants or a race or religion when it is irrelevant to the story and you will though.

Well, Leave say we give ~£350m each week, which is technically correct.
Remain say, it's far less than that, which is technically correct.

Why do they feel the need to focus on one facet of their identity and why do they feel the need to do so only for certain groups?

Because those on the left don't like that they are challenged.
