Would either of these wet your appetite

Huddersfield Town will seek £8m for 26-year-old Nahki Wells in January after the Bermuda forward turned down a new contract to stay at the Championship club.

Brighton, Bristol City, Norwich, Wolves and Brentford are all interested in signing Watford striker Jerome Sinclair, 20, in January.(Watford Observer)

Wells seems hot and cold and is hardly prolific. Is yet another loan what we really want in the form of Jerome Sinclair

Would prefer Wells out of the two but I will leave it up to LJ and MA to make the final decision

If I was the Manager and had serious aspirations of moving the club forward I wouldn't want either of them tbh.

A lot of these players who want to move on, or are at an impasse at their current clubs, should generally be avoided like the plague because they probably won't settle anywhere due to their over inflated egos. I don't envy our manager trying to sort out the dross from the cream in the new player stakes.

So who would you pick? Not sure Messi, Aguero or Suarez would come to us at the present time? :emoticon-0100-smile

He's probably wants to push on to a club going forward. He stayed long enough at Bradford and now Huddlesfield. He's not a bad player.

No they probably wouldn't, but we need someone who is a proven and reasonably prolific goalscorer at this level, because when Tammy goes back we're screwed if we cant replace him to a large degree.
I don't know much about the Watford lad, but Wells doesn't tick the boxes for me. Bit of a journeyman too.

Three clubs in 5 years? And one was only three games so it's been Bradford and Huddlesfield in that time. Not much of a journeyman by the sounds of it.

Wells has 37 Championship Goals in 117 Appearances, just over 1 in 3 so that's not to shabby. Anybody with a better strike rate will probably be looking at someone better than us and if I'm honest Wells might even want better than us. Name someone who you think fits your description that would want to join an average Championship side? Its not like they grow on trees or there is a strikers are us shop just around the corner.

Its all about whats between the ears.
If the player is ready for a Start again phase, and is hungry to kick start a career in slightly less than exultant circumstances, then Bristol City could be a fairly tasty opportunity. After all, Tommo is an attractive proposition for team mate, and we are not in the bottom half yet so there is still the possibility of a run to the play-offs
But it really depends on the player's attitude, whoever he is

Didn't notice him at all that day seeing as we beat them 4-0.

Plus just read the link it's Fulham or Norwich who's interested so not really worth everyone arguing over just yet.

I would have liked us to have gone for Vydra and McCormack
In the right team and with the right service, both are capable of well over 20 goals per season

So no one realistic then, (McCormack was signed by Villa for £12 million before we sold JK), also do you honestly believe that they would pick us over Villa or Derby? Both those clubs are more attractive than us to the outsider

Villa paid inflated prices for Kodjia and McCormack due to them having obscene amounts of money due to their failure to stay in the Premiership.

If we're being brutally honest, the majority of clubs in the Championship are probably a more attractive proposition than us.
