The Express is worse. It's complete Nazi propaganda. Even in a free press system it's surprising they get away with certain things.

By the way Kustard, "everytime" isn't a word in the English language.

You even **** up your username. That's why it's better that you let Stan choose it for you :azn:

As it seems to be agreed that most, if not all media have a bias but some are less subtle in applying it, it's clearly meaningless to try to dismiss a point simply because of which article is used to raise it.

It's more honest to discuss the points raised.

Most of the points raised in The Express are poorly researched Nazi propaganda from "a source". What's to discuss other than it's poorly researched Nazi propaganda from "a source"?

And the BBC have a more subtle, but clear bias in interviews and things like the selection of the question time audience.

It still makes the dismissals of the source meaningless, and doing that seems to be just a way of avoiding discussion of the issues.

What the Excess indulges in is nothing more than sensationalist scaremongering, designed to alarm the already scared, and influence the dull witted.

Again, it's not a newspaper, it's a comic! Nothing more than The Star without the tits.,,.

I think that's wishful thinking, if I'm honest.
IMO the full weight of "powers to be" will smooth over any indiscretions. It would be hugely embarrassing for America and their view that they are the worlds most powerful nation to have the President ridiculed by other nations.

The BBC, Independent, Times etc provide factual information and actual quotes from real people who aren't extremists. Most of The Express's articles are journalist opinions with limited to no factual data and at best a quote from a right wing extremist. Their need to use bold, oversized typeface and exclamation marks in the more hysterical article headlines is part of the propaganda process. They want simpletons like Kustard and Pete to be enraged before they get into the "content".

Anyone who reads and sucks in the ****e in The Express is a ****ing moron.

I think they might be a bit late on that one!

Most other nations already view it as a farce...

Anyone that believes what's in the media without looking more closely at it is a moron, no matter which outlet they're relying on.

It's why dismissing an issue because of the media that mention it is simply a way of avoiding discussion.

I'm not so sure it rattles him, Kustard. It certainly rankles, as it does me.

I think person of reasonable intelligence, capable of a reasoned, independent thought process, would also find it a ridiculous rag!..

Unfortunately, there seem to be more halfwits around than previously thought,,.

I'll avoid pointing out the obvious response to that comment, as I did when you've tried it several times before.

I notice you've still not grasped what a discussion forum is about. :emoticon-0113-sleep

When I can be bothered I'll find and post articles from The Express and the BBC reporting on the same subject.
