Must confess I have just asked Mr Google (won’t reveal the answer as I did cheat) as one was Flummoxed with a capital ‘F’. And it's never nice to be Flummoxed with a capital 'F'. Cor blimey he’s a total rogue – the horse not the trainer incidentally…

I can't remember but wasn't DDR one of those horses who didn't run as many times as he might over fences but had a good record.

He was one of those hurdlers that couldn't Jump a chase fence!

PU3PU0 were his form figures when chasing at the end of his career

Mmm I must have misremembered, I thought he was a smart novice chaser (Graded level?) but then became a rogue back over hurdles?

Punchestowns won the Long Walk Hurdle but was then beaten 4L by Big Bucks' in the Cleeve and just under 2 lengths in the World Hurdle in 2009. Won grade 2 and grade 1 novice chases but nowhere near the top table in open company. I though he then went back over hurdles but it seems I am wrong (again <laugh>)

Weird one really he won the graduation chase at kempton 2 years in a row 09 & 10then won the silver trophy chase at Cheltenham in 2010 then went back to Hurdles where he didn't really find the same level of form then moved yards and became an absolute dog!

    15:45 Lingfield - Flints Legacy/Knightly Pleasure

(Desperate ground at Lingfield today I would imagine. Just a modest R/F these two for a bit of interest).

On a side note, I see Charlie L is now training one for the queen. Could old Chuckles be cheering the old lasses horse home in a Triumph Hurdle?

I say Nassau, old boy, keep up that was announced absolutely yonks ago. I’m quite surprised that Princess Camilla didn’t update you on this several months ago. You need to have words...
