Of course immigrants have had a massive impact on the crimes in London and beyond. You have an influx of undesirables from many different countries. They all start forming their own little mini-(whichever country they come from) gangs who then start looking after their own little patch. They then start thinking about extending their patch to start earning more illegal gains through the selling of drugs, weapons, setting up protection rackets. Suddenly, they've started stepping on the toes of some other gang who are made up of undesirables from another country. Then the guns and knives start coming out to play. Then you have people who feel the need to carry a shooter around with them to either attack someone, or for protection. Then you have outcomes like the one the other day.
2 things 1. the edl marches are a testimony that if done properly (as in you put a ring around the marchers) no riots happen, and no the police were not in riot gear, although riot gear back up was available 2. they didnt stand between. what they did (actually it was nottingham police force who were briefed wrong as it turns out) was turn out en masse looking for a fight, 2 miles away from the march to box in a community, all truncheons blazing its a wonder it wasnt worse tbh all the subsequent reports slammed the methodology ps i was in community safety at the time so know some of the background that int freely available fyi the bradford riots were instigated not by the bnp (although that is what gets the coverage) it was started by a policeman knocking over a woman and tearing her clothes. her father in law smacke the copper, who smacked him, the son saw his dad getting battered, so had a swing ........
this seems to be government policy for the media at the moment they tend to be 'casual' in their reporting
I'll back up my statement with this from the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/6612817.stm
The EDL are not the BNP. There appears to be an attempt to move into the mainstream by the former and they want to move away from the BNP/NF/etc. Still the same old **** though, admittedly. Policing one is not the same as policing the other. You've admitted that they were wrongly briefed, yet you still seem to be blaming those that did the policing, rather than those that briefed them. Why is that? Why did the policeman knock the woman down? What were the circumstances?
So what are the yoof revolting about? Gotta clean their fackin rooms or what.Listen you wad the system is waiting for you lot now so if you wanna frighten women and kids then your muvvers and sisters gonna kick your arse. After the boys in blue.
that doesnt make sense if it is locals ie born an draised here then they are not 'immigrants' if they are from war torn countries then why not iraqis and afghans and if it is these then who 'war tore' their countries feckin chickens coming home to roost
Your points about the mishandling of immigration have some validity on a wider scale, but I don't think that it's relevant to the current situation. This appears to be about disenfranchised local youths that are upset about being profiled by the police and have limited education, qualifications, poor job prospects and nothing to do. Lumping groups of immigrants into what basically amounts to ghettos and then wondering why they don't integrate has been a problem for a while now, in my opinion. Can't have them getting near the rich though, unless they fancy doing some au pair work of trimming some MPs garden. On expenses, of course.
I don't think that it's Iraq or Afghanistan that they're talking about. Are you determined to make this about Islam?
you are right, however it actually adds weight to what i am saying, in terms of edl and bnp you see the bnp are more 'political' now and try not to cause aggro as such where as the edl and aggro go hand in hand The edl are harder to police in essence they were briefed by stoke police, an over reaction if you will. so it was the police briefing the police. As i mentioned cheshire were approached first. The protocol being that in such incidences the local police look to their neighbours for reinforcement. The LPU commander disagreed with the methodology so said no. so they approached nottingham and made out there was going to be a riot. They turn up all fired up, some incidences occur leading to skirmishes, that get labelled as 'asian riots' the policeman knocked the woman over as she was walking, she was a visitor and didnt speak the lingo. he was saying get back, she didnt realise that he was speaking to her or what he was saying so he shoved her
FFS, the vast majority have chosen to come here! They weren't forced to come here! Most of them don't even ****ing try in school or even bother attending it as they're more interested in going out on the rob and then they complain that they can't get a job. Get some qualifications and maybe an employer might be interested. FFS, I wouldn't tip up in some supposed "first world" country without a dollar or dime in my back pocket. Far too many namby pamby ****s in Britain nowadays.
wtf you on about now? read the article the guy has put up its talking about violence as a result of the people coming from war torn countries how many of the tottenham rioters fit that profile? last i checked the biggest influx of RECENT immigrants due to war was from iraq and afghanistan no mention of religion having said that if the community rioting is somali, guess the religion
having said that no kuntz come and illegally invaded us forcing us to seek pastures anew without money in our pockets
The police were on a hiding to nothing. If they used a withdrawn presence and it all kicked off, then they'd have been slaughtered for it. If a policeman is forced to push a woman back, who you've made it sound like was walking through a police line in the middle of a protest, then any retaliation by her family isn't the fault of the police.
The Australian Government have one of the best immigration policy's in the world. Just a shame ours wasn't similar about 30 years ago. Too late though, the horse has well and truly bolted
