Although I never look at rawk unless there's a link posted on here, when I have looked I've never seen anything outlandish. In contrast I followed a link the other day to an Everton fan site were they were discussing the new stadium and there was a prolonged conversation in relation to walls and Liverpool. I though that sort of rubbish was outgrown long ago.

JB has asked me to read the OP and I've read it..

There are too many assumptions for this to be anything other than a bit of fun. It cannot be remotely be taken seriously and those who do are even more silly than they think they are. What do they say "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing..."?

The idea that if a team drops 7 points from 3 "easy" matches they are already out of the title race is beyond farcical. It makes so many assumptions. First that the team in question will carry on the same form. Two, that the 3 teams classified as easy were the same as last season and made no improvements. On this basis Leicester was classified as "supereasy" at the start of last season, yet they ended up as champions and were extremely hard to beat.

Without the use of stats or the Alternative table, common sense tells us that no club is out of any race after 3 matches, IRRESPECTIVE of how easy these matches are supposed to be.

 

They finish in the top 4 every season on their wonderful alternative reality table, last season they didn't count Leicester when they were top of the league - as they shouldn't have been there

 

Surely come the end of the season the table matches the real league table no? As you feed more data it must become more accurate to the real thing

Faor enough. I've not looked that much detail on it, I assumed as the weeks progressed that a teams score would change based on previous form so over course of season you actually end up with similar looking tables

 

lol haven't looked but if their alternate league table doesn't match the real league table after 38 games then that is proper ******ed
