All these tales of woe from higher up the table are doing wonders for my spirits, really they are :(.

I think I managed 1 as well SLB at Southampton? Still shocking predictions on others though! Like the new scoring system :)

North North Watford also predicted 3-1, but it was just the two of you <ok>.

Oh it looks as if I haven't been paying attention to people. :(

I will hang my head in shame, well until I look at the league table again.;)

Two weeks of reasonable success? No chance. <doh>

I will be very happy if the League closes tomorrow!!! I was rather surprised to get that many points, especially with some shockers such as Posh winning, Leeds and Brum loosing!

<laugh> FYI, I'm going for the "it's a marathon, not a sprint" argument, Sandy .

Try this cheery, fluffy little number:

    "And there's a lake
And at the bottom you'll find all my friends
They don't swim cause they're all dead
We never are what we intend, or invent..."

How do you think I feel? I had to do a double-take when I saw that I was top. Bet I'm not top in the fantasy football league. (I'm just about to look)

Cheers SLB - sorry for wasting your time. Blind as a bat I must be!
As I'm so bad at predictions each week I thought I would use a different animal (or creature) to pick for me like the Octopus the other year!
I will initially test the Cat, the Dog and the Jerbil before moving on to the fish - if any of them turn out to be useful then I will carry out an extended one month trial and then if successful I will give them a one year contract! :)

 No worries, always worth checking, I never mind I promise, I do make mistakes every now and then although I try to make it as computer-run as possible <ok>.

    <laugh><laugh>

I wonder if we'd tried goldfish years ago, instead of Dave Bassett, it would've been a different story  ?

There's a school of thought that John Barnes was leaving even if GT had stayed that season.

I can guarantee you that a goldfish wouldn't have agreed to that sale.

Eventually SLB, but as mentioned I have been heavily into the plumbing game, so did rather slip behind on essential reading.

Your message was timed here at 4.21 am. Are you standing in for Hornette while she is away?:emoticon-0102-bigsm
