  7. "I am happy at the club and want to be here for a long, long time," said Kane. "We are in talks and I'm sure we will get something sorted. I'm not panicking and I'm not demanding anything as I've read in the paper."
    (Kane, speaking to the BBC, on the subject of his contracts talks)

    <applause>
    It's great to see that some players love their club and its fans.

    Keep kissing the badge, Harry! You're one of our own, son.

    He wants more than you can afford. When you have people like Rooney on what 300k a week? you have to realise he'll leave soon, while he still can.

    If he does a Vardy and holds Spurs over a barrel and then drops form, he's ****ed his chance (like Vardy).

    He'll keep scoring Pens (who cant!) but other than that he's slow, suited to Man Utd tbh.

    Good luck, but expect the worst mate.

  11. Us Spurs fans have learned to live with disappointment. If we can **** it up, usually we do.

  12. Harry Kane has urged Tottenham to sort out his contract, with Manchester United among the big clubs monitoring the 23-year-old striker's situation after talks over a new deal were put on hold last week. (Mirror)

    <doh>
    No, the talks haven't been "put on hold," as the man, himself, has made absolutely clear.

    He's physical, very willing to work, etc. I think he's slowly adapting to the additional demands of the Prem, having come from Eredivisie.

    But, he needs to learn movement. He's far too static IMO. That's ok when you're just playing target man, holding the ball up for others to run onto. But, when you're the lone striker, as he's been at times with Kane injured, you've got to make yourself more available.

    He could use a day sitting down watching videos of Aguero on how to make space for yourself. How to invite a pass into where you want it, etc.

  16. There's too much of the Soldado about him at the moment.

    I'm hoping he will come good, as I did with Soldado.

    Soldado had very good stats when he came to Spurs, but he didn't fit into PL and his confidence dipped. how is he doing since leaving Spurs?

    not sure Jansen is good enough for PL, and you may need a better option when Kane moves on [money talks] - cheeky bid for Sturridge maybe.

    is Son injured as he has stopped scoring ?
