Vardy has come up through the footballing school of hard knocks and has been a prolific goalscorer at every level he has played ... no reason to think he won't start notching again in due course ... the problem is that we are not creating enough for him and he's having to feed on scraps ...he only got one real chance against Watford - dying seconds and with a wall of defenders in front ... ballooned it ...

I think we'll be seeing a change in formation / tactics pretty soon - particularly if we've made the knockout stage of the UCL on Tuesday (although not taking that for granted) ...

Not good to watch right now - and conceding after 33 seconds? ... ........... footballing suicide when you are not in the best of form ...

 

I get the feeling Vardy needs to start playing Football and stop thinking he's made it and wanting to be in magazines and the Silver Screen living off last season.

 

I don't always agree with you Spurlock but bang on mate, not just Vardy the lot of them. They will always be legends of the club but it's in the past now and currently they are a bunch of overpaid, average players who seem to thing they are too good to go down. I think fans are more balanced and realise nobody is too good to go down..

 

media haven't helped with reminding everyone after every defeat that Leicester won it last year. I think that has seeped into the players thinking. Its almost like no one can complain ever again because the team won it last year.

Absolute spurlock. These guys think they have made it and most of them can't be bothered anymore. Ranieri needs to go back to basics and put in the players who are willing to die for the team

I don't think we will get relegated, I just think the players need to pull their fingers out their overpaid arses and stop the rot. Most of my comments on this thread have been to defend them but the last two games have been indefensible.

 

I'd be worried if he wasn't trying.

Trouble with Vardy is that teams just sit on the edge of the area against us and, aside from Mahrez, we don't have anyone who can unlock a defence.

So when you've got Morgan and Huth in the worst form of their lives shipping goals for fun at one end and our strikers not getting any service at the other it's a big problem.
