It's got nothing to do with what I believe, you said that there were alternative versions to the economics I gave.

Can you give us an example ?

I can, but I'm not that interested in doing it. It's more enjoyable with you thinking it's costing you money.

I've already said, if it makes you happy to believe I can't, and you've 'won', go for it. <ok>

Which ever version is correct, madge is sat comfy on her throne. :emoticon-0105-wink:

That's why I asked, it's very easy for you to preach about how fantastic immigrants are but unless you really know any you have no basis to properly back that up. I actually know a lot due to my own heritage and in most cases, pure luck through others' vocational avenues which allow me to know things that wouldn't be made common knowledge to friends, acquaintances and sometimes even family, as I said, it's not as fine and rosy as you believe.

How is a strict immigration policy 'mental' and unenforceable? I'll answer that for you, it's not. That's just a platitude commonly used against people who are opposed to the current levels of migration, dare I say, another one of your stock replies that you've picked up from your echo chamber. I haven't argued against people being bilingual, what I argue for is that all immigrants must speak English and that English must be the mother tongue of their children.

That's not what I said though was it ? Go back and read it.

If they don't rule anymore, then what the **** are they doing there then ? Are they simply a Tourist attraction ?

It's a pretty reasonable summary of what you're saying. You're just back peddling because you realise the implications.

It's either that, or given you didn't even know she wasn't the ruler, you perhaps didn't realise the issue isn't her the individual, it's what her position represents, and yes, to a degree, what she represents is an attraction to millions around the world.

It's just a few hypocritical, ill-informed marxists that seem to struggle with it. Long may they continue to do that, as it adds to the pleasure. <ok>

Well that is both mental, unrealistic and unenforceable. How do you control what language people speak in in their homes?

Your comments would have a shred of credibility if you didn't have a problem with people whose families have been here for generations, speak perfect English and dare to reproduce.

I'm not back peddling at all, I'm happy to affirm what I said again, I didn't say the queen wasn't british, I said that the Royal Family have chosen a 'british' name because they are from a German family called Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. They only changed it because they didn't want to be associated with Germany when we went to war with them. Which is ironic, because they had close ties with the Nazi party a few years later in the 1930's.

Also, the Queen is the head of state, so therefore she is the ruler, and whilst Parliament ultimately makes the decisions, the monarch gives the decree for the Govt to operate in Parliament. Whilst it may be largely symbolic, the Queen is still the head of state. It seems that it is you who has failed to understand how this constitutional make up works. You've just been schooled by a 'hypocritcal, ill-informed marxist' :)

As for her being 'attractive to tourists', fine. That's what I've said all along, open up Buck palace to the rich tourists and let them pay for the refurb. <ok>

<laugh> I'm amused by you claiming you had an alternative economic version, but couldn't recall it when I called you out.

If it makes you happy to believe that, fill your boots. <ok>

For all your information and indignance, madge still wanders round one of her many homes, exempt from bedroom tax and probably council tax.

    Ace isn't it. :emoticon-0103-cool:

As I've said, it doesn't matter what I believe. The facts are that I called you out on your 'alternative economics' and you couldn't give any <ok>

I can recall it, that's a piece of piss, I just didn't bother doing it.

It's far more fun having you believe she costing you money.

It's interesting you share the view with Zlatan, that we shouldn't be funding foreigners and giving them houses.

Let it be known to them that if their kids start school without an appropriate understanding of the English language then they will be kicked out of the country, obviously exceptions can be made for those kids that are ******ed. This will incentivise them to speak the nation's language, subsequently increasing their chances of assimilation, being respectful to the way the country operates and their children not being a burden on the schooling system.

    lol
