Your right enough tbh but we still have to take the piss Glad you jogged my memory about JT I'd almost forgotten how much of a vile cnut he is ha ha
Everton boo their own team at half time. Koeman #fraud #exposed not long left in the job. Did anyone see if there was another pitch invasion by Everton fans when they got the draw?
Without actually winning anything any measure of success is very subjective with all sorts of factors, budgets, cup runs, squad strength, how many points behind , standard of opposition etc. I am not sure improvement from year before is the deciding factor eg what would Leicester need to do this season? Fans need to be realistic about what is achievable for their own clubs, for Liverpool a top 4 finish would count as success IMO but others might disagree. So on to Everton currently in midtable 7th and probably just about where I would put them in terms of squad ability etc and unlikely to finish above it. PS I meant to post this stuff quite early today on my phone not sure what happened but expected a win for you guys today. still think you have enough to finish 7th
It's the patience Liverpool brand transitional season. New manager, new philosophy and a team that's not his. He needs to teach the team his ways of working, because training is for dogs
And yet Klopp said having little time to work with his players this week was a problem. I bet all the other PL managers are glad their players didn't go to international games, it gave them a massive advantage
With such limited time this week Klopp only had time to work on keeping a clean sheet. Job done. And our draw was an improvement on last season's fixture. What did Mourinho work on? Throwing points away against a club they beat comfortably last season?
Last year is gone and all teams are now different. You would probably have managed to get a point against Burnley last year but **** happens.
We played crap against Burnley Today you played the best football you ever have under Mourinho, against the manager who loses to Mourinho most often, and the team that loses to Man Utd most often, and it still got you nowhere
We have played much better than today quite a few times this season, re-tune your radio the reception is crap
This thread is for your Everton obsession please start another thread for your Man Utd obsession and keep on topic.. Cheers...
All managers should get more than a season, really. Obviously if things are going terribly then you might be forced into a change but I think 3 seasons should be enough for a manager to stamp his authority on a team and get the players he wants in.
If a manager can't keep the teams best/better players then are they the right kind of manager to move forward?
Sometimes I don't think you can help it. Money talks at the end of the day and even if you had Guardiola in charge I don't think you'd be able to keep your best players if the likes of City, Chelsea, Barca, Madrid etc. wanted them.
Koeman was handed a £100m warchest and despite @Tobes's claims of there being an #incredibledifference, with a third of a season played there's ****all improvement in the league and they've been dumped out of their best chance for a cup by Norwich
Leaking less goals and have more points than last season.........so far. Not bad for a transitional season.
Teams usually have a couple of games improvement with a new manager, hence your extra 2 points compared to last season. You're now shipping 1.2 goals per game compared with last season's 1.3 goals per game #incredibledifference
