Having his daughter sit in on a meeting with Japan's Prime Minister would be a massive scandal for anyone else.
Putting his businesses in a blind trust?

Virtually everyone's that's even been rumoured to be in his new team has been accused of some sort of bigotry.
Racists, sexists, homophobes and climate change deniers, all with links so various big businesses and banks.
He could have any more lobbyists on his side if he tried.

 

The supporters of the party in power always think they've been "proven right".

Personally I don't think Hitler's supporters were ever "right".

 

Brexit, or the prospect of it, has had a significant effect on the economy. It will continue to weigh on growth, investment, and inflation. It is ridiculous to try and claim otherwise.

It's is hardly a 'fixation', as you so ludicrously call it, to point out simple, but important effects to something that affects every person in the UK, whether they voted to leave or not!..

And global issues also have a role on the economy, and trends existed pre-brexit and it's more ridiculous to keep trying to ignore that and blame any change on brexit, particularly as the EU was liable to have changed had we stayed in, and is still liable to change in a different way if they have sense enough to realise that there's a global issue with regimes like theirs.

The one thing you do say that has come true, is that you don't know what the future holds, there are plenty of scenarios where it could work out well in the long term, particularly with the other global events occurring.

It's equally ridiculous and ludicrous to be singularly fixated on that issue, when the vote was about far more.

 

To be fair, he worked miracles with their economy before deciding to push for a single European Union. Some people see the economy as the single important factor.

He may have wanted Germany to rule Europe but that's not reflective of the EU.

As the UK is about to find out, the EU isn't ruled by one country or party. Regions of Belgium can veto things like trade deals. I doubt Hitler, had he been successful, would have granted any similar power.

I'm pleased though that you've finally admitted your admiration for the man. You've been encouraged often enough to be honest and stop hiding behind waffle and hysterical cries of "you're deflecting".

Brexit has had a direct negative effect on the UK economy. That is a fact. It will continue to weigh negatively on the economy for the foreseeable future - a fact.

Of course the vote wasn't about the economy, I have never claimed that it was! People didn't vote to make themselves poorer, well not intentionally anyway. But the national economy is of massive importance to any country. All it's plans for growth and spending depend upon it. It's ridiculous to try and claim otherwise.
