I actually thought Clutterbuck had a reasonable game, didn't get swayed by the baying mob in the east Northam area. Our chants could also have influenced him! May have missed a penalty shout for handball in the Chapel end, but could have given one against VVD's shirt tug, not sure it was in the area though? Many a referee would have booked Milner who was a bit lucky not to have got that yellow.
No but it was our fault he was allowed to get that much space. Overall I'd agree we defended well, hard not to when you get a clean sheet against the top scorers.
Just got back and not read the forum yet ( can't wait... not) I think we battled superbly today against a very good side. I expect to read people moaning about individuals, but collectively we looked like a tough team who were hard to beat. Liverpool made two or three very good chances and missed them... well that's what we normally do. No complaints from me for a hard earned point against a very good team. Sure we didn't do much going forward but that was because of the opposition. All our work was done working defensively. Players have bad days. I hope the referee lovers (yes you Tom ) remember that the next time they let rip at our players making a mistake or playing badly. The ref had a bad day. He's not a bad ref, but he was today.

Hes doing well at Blackburn. Let him stay, bang in the goals for a season and get confidence. A 21y old who has scored 5 goals in the NPC is not an immediate answer to our goal scoring problems.
