In all fairness Jermaine Defoe has been a great striker - he was quite a force when he had a good team around him. The fact that he has put the ball in the net at all this season, in the dross that he's playing with, may be on par with his greatest achievements - probably in his last season in the Premiership.

Danny Graham ...£5million quid, 29 appearances ...1 goal (I am assuming and think you will agree... he just couldn't bring himself to score for your lot, as you rightly point out, he can manage it elsewhere) ...well that proved to be an outstanding investment on your clubs part <ok>

You can only score against what is in front of you. Sunderland cant seem to manage that very often (apart from today, of course ..which you seem very proud of...which is jolly nice to see and makes a change from unrestricted beeling) Did most of the supporters leave at half time as usual and miss some, actual, real goals?

He couldnt score cause the Premiership was too hard for him abit like how Nugent, Glenn Murray and Jordan Rhodes look world class in the Championship but like Gayle fail to deliver in the big boys league <laugh>.

<laugh> Its almost as much fun as winning every week in the championship this ...almost*

*(and the championship IS great fun. Public service announcement for the benefit of Teeside. As he will misunderstand it and rant away/foam at the mouth fruitlessly ..no matter what)

That they don't actually score too often ? Lowest scorers in division seems to bear that out.
And interesting to note that Hull had 58% of play and something like quadruple the shots at goal and on target and corners too.
Reads like you were as lucky as you were in that ridiculous 0-3 win at Stadium of Shi-ite last year.

I have already pointed out you seem happy and proud of finally scoring 3 in a match ..and what a pleasant difference that makes to the usual beel, tantrums, hissy fits and meltdowns that Sunderlands board members are, deservedly, renown for.

But don't try and rewrite the threads history ..you instantly started foaming at the mouth to a joke..and have risen to the bait time after time after time after time after time <laugh>

You, no one else ... tried to turn it into a slagging match (which given the level of grown up discussion on Sunderlands board ..is understandable on your part...you are used to it)

Fish, barrel and shooting spring to my mind......Its hardly sport ..to be fair

(btw's you didn't reply when I asked if most of the supporters missed the goals ..as they always seem to leave at half time?)
