"I don't see especially that Chelsea play more English players than we do. Who have they produced, homegrown? Just one, John Terry." - Wenger in 2005 when quizzed on Arsenal's all-foreign line-up.
At the beginning of the following season in August 2005, Wenger also expressed concerns over Chelsea's tactics: "I know we live in a world where we have only winners and losers, but once a sport encourages teams who refuse to take the initiative, the sport is in danger." Mourinho was unimpressed. "Wenger has a real problem with us and I think he is what you call in England a voyeur. He is someone who likes to watch other people. There are some guys who, when they are at home, have a big telescope to see what happens in other families. Wenger must be one of them - it is a sickness. He speaks, speaks, speaks about Chelsea." http://www.skysports.com/football/n...urinho-the-history-of-their-rivalry-in-quotes
Well,it was a concern it still is,if the best can do that the sport truly is in danger. Now i see where everything stems from,Arsene was not being personal atleast not very, jose took everything very very personally and then started attacking him personally..thats how it came to be i guess.
Mourinho is in constant #meltdown over Wenger because he has stayed at Arsenal so long whereas Mourinho has been chased out of everywhere he goes within a few years

Mourinho in full #meltdown "What you get, you do it as a team. In the Premier League - just Premier League - tomorrow is a match between two managers with the best record. Six or seven titles. Should we be respected even in periods when our results are not that best? I think Mr Wenger gets that. I don't think I do even though my last Premier League title was 18 months ago. No respect." this is clearly influenced by his frustration because he has #lostthedressingroom
"I am in the club where I want to me. That is so simple as that. When I was sacked at Chelsea I was not in trouble. I had lots of offers. I don't speak about them. I could be working one week after in some of the biggest clubs in Europe. I waited for this chance." You waited because Man Utd paid you £4m to sit around until 5 minutes after LVG had lifted the FA Cup #theunitedway
Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho claims Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger receives more respect http://www.skysports.com/football/n...enal-boss-arsene-wenger-receives-more-respect
United job is not the job for Jose Mourinho, because he has not get the charisma of Sir Alex Ferguson. He already made many enemies with FA and the referee association. He can not scare anyone.
Mourinho: "The team played very well. This team at the moment is the unluckiest team in the Premier League. That is the reality." #meltdown
Bit disappointed at us not winning today but that quote has cheered me up no end. what's even funnier is that some of our knobhead visitors will no doubt jump on our result whilst ignoring theirs.
I'd guess he'd have said ver'e shtill acht pointz in front off ze mancs despite us dropping zwei earlier ha ha! Or something similar.
