He rode that one for Hobbs that won at HQ last Saturday the same as Yanworth in March. Got away with it Saturday as his horse was superior but he gets found out when facing a rival of similar ability time and time again. It wins, it's a great ride. When they lose its the worst ride in the world etc.
Who'd have thought it, Enda Bolger wins the Risk of Thunder. Lil Rockerfella very game at Ascot. Can't see Yanworth in the winners enclosure in March unless they left him a stone and a half off peak fitness.
As Yanworth won and 5/2 available I have backed Coneygree. Even though he's been off a while, his relentless galloping style on Haydock's soft ground should be too much for Cue Card. Seeyouatmidnight the danger but I want to see Coneygree come out and demolish them.

A very pleasing effort by Coneygree. I'd say that went pretty much to script for them after a lay off. He'll be stripping fit for next time.
Oh gosh, what a race, am all choked-up for Cue Card. Coneygree lost nothing in defeat after such a long absence. Two of this planet's best staying chasers. Great race, and of the highest class.
