    We really have become a nation of ragged-trousered philanthropists once again haven't we? This is a disgrace. Turn Buck House into a hostel for asylum-seekers and homeless people I say, and spend the money on something we actually need.

    What I fail to understand with the Buckingham Palace renovations is that the Queen owns alot of other properties that could be sold to afford the work to be done.
    Instead, as per usual it's down to us to accommodate their lifestyle.
    Ridiculous doesn't even describe it.
