Thanks for the invite but it'll probably be Thomas Frost for me , good grub although a little busy a friendly folk
Well if you can only support the team in the good times but not the bad then what sort of fan is that......????
Incorrect Dai. I don't want the club relegated. If I have ever said that please point out where I have said it. On the other hand I can point exactly to the post where you have said you would like to see the Club relegated.
Listen turnip brain. I'll say this just once. You have had a history of ridiculous predictions for years on this site, both football and non-football related. You also have a penchant for backsliding and engaging reverse gear when it suits. You take against a player or manager from the get-go and then tailor your comments appropriately, giving him hell. On the other hand you gush over others even when it's undeserved and won't change course, blinkers full on. You wum horribly on other teams' boards making us all look bad. You condescend to other posters as if you are the only fan the Swans have ever had and the only one who knows anything at all about football. According to you none of us have a clue what we're talking about, and it's usually accompanied by "son". You have laughed when we've lost to lower league opposition previously and have wished us to lose on many occasions in the past just to make a point. We all know it. Remember many are here from the old 606 days. You (supposedly) have the funds to watch the Swans but gave up your season ticket whilst we were doing well in the Premiership. I didn't, and I can't imagine any other poster on this board doing that. So what sort of fan does that make you? <drops mic>
The Swans are 11/2 with William Hill. "In times of adversity" and all that, anybody fancy us sneaking a 1-0 win
I think we'll get a result today.....2-2, maybe 2-1 to Swans. I do believe we can turn this around, and I've not been on the wine!
A lot has been said about the lack of quality of our squad. I'm not convinced. A couple of weeks ago we were playing great football against Liverpool and Man City, albeit ending in defeat on both occasions. We've got to start re-producing that level of performance, preferably starting today.
Totally agree, we have by no way the worse squad in the PL, however the way they are asked to play and the formations is making them look worse than they are. A good manager can make a difference except we haven't got one.
Agreed. Although our quality has decreased this season overall it cannot be said we haven't got a talented squad. This Titanic needs to be turned around as the iceberg isn't that far off. Not sure we can do it today though.
As much as I admire the optimism of some of the above posts, and I like to think that I am an optimist at heart, I cannot see a win today, at best we will be very luck to get a draw, given that we are playing a revived Everton with quality all over the park, and lets not forget the officials for todays game, Martin Atkinson is one of the most inept plonkers to ever put on the black kit, a complete Idiot if ever there was one, so don't have any high expectations for today's game, we are also playing away and coming off the back of an international break, the omens are not good!............
Fernandez, Fer, Taylor and no striker Dyer on the bench instead of Monty? Might as well sell him in a January then.
