Actually Dave, I am going via Romsey, so yes can do. I'll pick you up on the way through I'll guess at 12-12:30 ish. Does that work? I'll call en route.

Fran - not sure. Depends on traffic and timing. I can't leave as early tomorrow as I'd like and have to go via Romsey. Probably pushing it a bit. The shame is that I would have room, as I am using Mrs Fat's people carrier.

No.7 will be in the pub early. He's a decent chap.

I do feel ashamed... honest :D I have passed my ticket on to a forum member, though so at least there won't be an empty seat. As I said before, I'm more upset at missing everyone at the Farmhouse than missing the game :(

I'm planning on arriving at Southampton central at around 12ish. Should be in pub by 12:30 if I walk, 12:10 if i'm lazy and get a cab :)

I'm only getting there so early as I need food this time...at the Milan game as I had no food the wine went to my head and I hallucinated that we beat Italian European giants after going a goal down.

As I'll be one of the first there from here - shall I get a nice table in the garden?

This is getting like that final scene of "Four Weddings". You need to meet in the rain and FLT has to say that you should get in out of the rain and then you, Helen, can use the corniest line ever to be used in a Richard Curtis film and say "Oh is it? I hadn't noticed"

Cue Wet Wet Wet singing "I feel it in my fingers" and the Saints away fans forming a chorus. Oh, it's so romantic. I feel privileged to have followed this story here on our modest little forum. Just one point. Not sure about your status, our lovely Welsh siren, but FLT has mentioned wife and kids ....
