get your figures right if you are going to state facts. scholes total for united 150 in 676 = 0.222 in europe 26 in 130 = 0200 for england 14 in 66 = 0.212 gerrard total 140 in 556 = 0.252 in europe 38 in 116 = 0.328 for england 19 in 89 = 0.213 so lets compare toal for club = gerrard (0.252 > 0.222) in europe = gerrard (0.328 > 0.200) for england = gerrard (0.213 > 0.212) interestingly since gerrard took over an attacking role in 2005 his score ratio has been 0.354 (112 in 316) better than 1 in 3 compared to scholes 1 in 5 over that same period. just saying

Why must a midfield playmaker be judged by his goal tally? You only have to look at Scholes' pass completion percentages in the games he plays to see what made him such a great player.
