Waited 30 minutes for a fish supper in August.

 

I wasn't blown away by it either.

 

The bird got the battered prawns. They were better than the fish supper.

The best place I've ever been to was the Quayside in Gourdon. Those ****s will even do a lobster supper.

 

There are two great chippies in Ainster

Fochabers fish bar is the current Britain's best chippy.

Aye but you get detoured round the toon now. I used to stop there on the way to Invergordon. Sometimes stop in Keith and buy one of the hell haggis from the butcher there. **** puts double black pepper and chilli in his haggis.

 

My brother used to live in Fochabers . He was Diageos head engineer for the region. They moved him down to Paisley a few years back. Not quite the same lifestyle

 

Fochabers is Land of the Living Deid. Like Florida for auld Scottish ****s.

Nice wee town though. I used to do work for Diageo on most of their sites up here when I worked for Wyko/ERIKS. Probably met him.

 

You probably would have. Very pleasant, intellligent unassuming chap.

He now lives in Killearn bw. He seems to like the frantic pace of such places

 

Better than where Shell just moved the guy I used to work next to. He's been put to Basra on a 24 month contract.

 

I've been to Basra. Wasn't that impressed tbh.

 

I was offered a job laser aligning the engines on minesweeper vessels in the Gulf about 10 years ago. Boss offered me £350 a day, told him £1k per day or naw.

Obviously he never went for that.
