Steve Evans deserves a better job and could be a good Championship manager, so what went wrong. Many felt sorry for him working Cellino and despite everything he was the most successful manager we had for years. Yeah strange isnt it but he had a relegation squad and got almost our highest league position and kept us mid-table. He had big personality players to deal with and up and coming kids, so Mansfield have a good one for that level and hope he does some damage. Hes never had money but has won 5 promotions down the leagues, so good luck fatty. Barcodes will be a toughy and anything we get will be a bonus. hate the International break because when you are playing well you worry it ends when you start back. I'm worrying. If we win this it will be a like a 6-pointer as all our competition for top 6 spots could lose against Newcastle.
Morning Doc, for me Evans did not stand up to Cellino. Perhaps if he did, Cellino would have had more respect for him. Fine line though as you can't bite the hand that feeds you.

morning all A draw against Newcastle and I'd be happy. Elland you starting line up has once again shown me that we need to get a striker in January
Noooo, keep same formation. We have 3 CMS all playing well so if O'Kane isn't available i'd play Vieira and Phillips with Hernandez ahead of them. Although young and inexperienced they have done well. Only question is does Berardi come back in for Ayling. I don't see how he can with Ayling performing so well, think it will happen at some point through the season though
Also, no need to invite pressure on ourselves. We also have dangerous players that can hurt teams and we can't forget that. Sahko on form is terrifying and i'd play him for that reason. Hopefully Hernandez shows up as well because he can be the real difference for us

I've got disagree with you there. He's had a chance to prove himself but hasn't done it. When you have a handful of good games a season you should be expected to drop down the pecking order and be replaced with a better option. I wouldn't bother renewing his contract and I'd let him go in the summer. We can bring in a kid from the lower leagues who would be hungry for success
I take your point. Though, I thought with wood, doukara, roofe and Hernandez all starting against Norwich we'd get over-run in midfield. So In circumstances where the pack gets shuffled, I guess much depends on the adaptibility of the players selected and the role they're asked to do.
I think we will get over run in midfield without okane so dropping another cm would be suicide. Need pontus to go straight through Shelvey and even it up a bit! Afternoon all

The Leeds team has been taking shape for the last few weeks and has the look of being our best team for a long time. Sundays game will give us an indication of wether we are likely to be in contention for promotion. But we have every right to be hopeful.
