I noticed it says that talks will be suspended if a deal isn't completed by the January transfer window.
4 partys remain interested Due diligence is underway whatever that is If it cant be completed before january talks will be suspended
http://www.skysports.com/share/10659765 Hull City want a takeover of the club to be completed before the start of the January transfer window. The Premier League club has been up for sale since 2014 when chairman Assem Allam had his bid to change their name to Hull Tigers rejected by the Football Association. Sky Sports News HQ understands four parties remain interested in buying the club but a deal remains incomplete. City are 18th in the table, after taking 10 points from their first 11 games, and confirmed Mike Phelan as their new permanent manager last month after a long spell in interim charge. A club spokesman said: "The process of due diligence is ongoing but it is unclear whether this will be completed before or after the transfer window. "If the takeover of the club can't be done before the window then talks will be suspended."

Its one of 2 things - either they really want to sell and its a gee up the buyers to get a move on 'you'd better be quick cos there's 3 other interested parties and if it's not done by end of December it's off' or they dont really want to sell and it's a get-out for when they use every delaying tactic in the book.
Just as an aside, is everyone else completely bored with this and they don't even get a whiff of excitement even when we seemingly get close to a sale cos we all know they'll do something to balls it up?
The probably realise they will need to spend £15m in the window and will not be able to increase the sale price by that amount if talks are ongoing.
Pretty obvious if a takeover doesnt happen before We dont invest in players and we get relegated then the allams lose alot of potential cash
Or..... The Allams are trying to save some face and appear in position of power following the "take it or leave it" final offer. Any takeover party will want the deal done before January anyway. I expect a deal within two weeks with Allams claiming glory for completing deal
Nice positive attitude. I'm on the other end of the scale, seeing no sale followed by a drift down the leagues and a reboot required from a much lower level, much as it was going to be before the "saviours" arrived.
David Burns @bbcburnsy I hear Ehab Allam is due to meet someone from Chien Lee group @NewCityCapital in London on Friday. #hcafc That's ****ed that up then...
