Further over beyond the roundabout. I think they make road salt or something there? or seems to be something like that. They are the ones that always put up the sign on match day saying no parking apart from people with a parking membership.
Katharina sold other businesses belonging to her father, but has perhaps found that a football club has a more emotional side than a paper factory. She probably wants the club to carry on in the same manner and succeed and is therefore being more selective in her choice of buyer than most would be....hopefully, we will be hard to shift.
Beddy Was it you who offered to pick me up from the ferry and take me to the Farmhouse. I am going on the 19th If not, sod you.
Do what I do then, and go over the Itchen Bridge, through Bitterne, West End, and join the M27 at the airport and then drive up the M3. Works a treat most of the time apart from last Thursday. It might sound like a very indirect route but its a good one
Saints do NOT own that land. The city council does and it's on a very long term lease to Cemex (cement & aggregates)
You sure? I was told we did, unless the person was mistaken. If so, am sorry for spreading wrong info.
Absolutely positive. City Council owns all the city centre side waterfront from the Itchen Bridge up to Northam Bridge. Think some of the confusion comes from those Cortese pie in the sky plans for the future redevelopment of the stadium where it showed an open waterfront alongside the stadium. That was just nothing more than a design idea. Even if it had gone to a planning application, you can still put a planning application in for land you don't own.
Company rumoured to be in talks (Lander) have requested their shares remain suspended due the possibility of a major acquisition. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...or-english-soccer-club-in-major-restructuring
Apparently there is some distance between either sides valuation of the club so this could take a while. I trust Katherina to only sell to a serious and trusted buyer.
They are more in need for a better deal than Kat so if either side would budge it would most likely be Kat. Although saying that, she has had plenty of opportunities to sell over the previous 3 years and has refused so she is clearly not desperate. Will be interesting to see how it develops.
