The end result and the manner of it was massively demoralising; Hart should played the full game so that he could work with the defence, as he is clearly first pick.

I thought we played okay and I enjoyed the game, as we played a more spirited and determined style to that against the Jocks.

But that is the rub of it, the substitutions broke down the style and flow, the team became tired from confusion and Spain were allowed to poke us in the eye, twice.

Too much change, friendly or not.

 

I would have been more than happy for us to have got Heaton in on a free when we had the chance.
