Off Topic Mafia Game 14th November Mafia V vamps

Here are the 3 possible roles and the OP will be updated with these:


1. NEUTRAL Possible

The Amnesiac.

You wake up in the hospital and cannot remember who you are. you only get flashbacks and at night you will stumble about the town ending up in the graveyard. Each night you pick one gravestone and look at it.

If you pick the right one you will remember who you are

This role will adopt the power of a randomly chosen role that has DIED in this game. These roles are: TOWN, JAILER, MAFIOSO, CLEANER, VAMPIRE HUNTER

2. Mafia Possible

The consort:

You are the mafia bike. You are a role blocker and sleep with one person each night and they do not carry out their night action. The veteran if on guard will shoot them. You can be locked up.

3. Town Possible

The Escort:

You are the town bike. You are a role blocker and sleep with one person each night and they do not carry out their night action.The veteran if on guard will shoot them. You can be locked up.

I have explained one role more than others as it is new. I am going to randomly select which role is added. they are one neutral, one mafia and one town.

I have deliberately said a mystery person gets the power.

8. The executioner (Neutral)
The executioner will be assigned a player at random and their job will be to have that person LYNCHED. If they succeed they will win the game with whatever side wins. IF however that person gets killed before lynched there is one more chance, the executioner can get themselves lynched to grab the win.

If Musty is telling the truth then if we lynch him he wins. We need to be 100% that he's lying before we go down this path.

So we need a counter to his claim to be sure, given that he did vote for the same person 2 nights running which marries with his role.

Has anyone checked his posts to see if he tried leading the group towards Beardo over the 2 days?

 

have no idea mate though he is doing a thorough job of putting himself in the frame
so far my lyching votes have been for the Jailer & VT though i knew i should swop from Beardsley so as you can see i'm no help

I can read rules but i think i'm missing the tell tale giveaways more experienced players pick up

So no other player barring Musty voted for the same player 2 days running. So this would appear to back Musty's claim for the executioner role.

Unless anyone else comes forward, then I can't see how we can lynch him.

On my phone so can't look back at day reports. Mafia haven't recruited yet. Has the vamp recruited? From the new roles it seems possible that the mafia can gain a new role and recruit in one day, thus making them very strong. Just food for thought there.

 

Musty was on Danilo prior to Beardsley on day 2 but since we got RHC to waste Danilo we still have the same dilemma

 

Biscan voted for Valley night 1 and ACS night 2, so this makes either of them being mafia highly unlikely

 

He may have always been intending to switch, no-one has counted his claim yet, so the odds are currently with him.

 

I had been working on assumption that only 1 action per night and while it is a bit ambiguous on rereading it does look that way
They mafia may recruit one member when their first member is killed.

Yeah from what MITO said above, the role of the mystery player won't count as a mafia action?

@moreinjuredthanowen how and when will the role of the mystery player be announced?

My thoughts are, if the mafia are informed prior to the decision to recruit that they have a new player, they may decide to save the recruit for later.

I have said what I have said on the 3 possible roles.

there is a need to keep it having wriggle room for the players who did enter the competition.

In short:

a) I have already given the 3 possibles. i won't be saying any more on the thread.

b) I have picked one of the 3 roles at random.

c) the player who won has been told their role
