Will this mean him missing the first three games of the ACON tournament in January. If so its hardly worth picking him so he might as well stay at SAFC.
Definite red card though and utterly stupid - I wonder how many of our fellow strugglers watched it and thought "Let's give him a few digs off the ball so he loses his head!" It's what I'd want to be doing that's for sure
Don't think so - it's a friendly so they don't count towards the tournament I don't think - may be wrong though
The opposition player falls to the fall when he seems the ref approaching about 1 minute after the ****ing incident. I cant even tell from the video if he actually punches him hard or if he just pretends to go for him and the player milks it for everything he's got. The way the player goes down, you'd have thought he had broken his nose.
He definitely made contact - but, judging from the reaction of the player and his fall, I doubt it was much contact - although I have seen these "smack head, pass out 10 seconds later" before with a lad in the street who smacked his head on a wall (unaided) but he was actually knocked out - the full back certainly wasn;t
