Not really, he's in prison. Look at the end of the day, you either believe in free speech and allowing nutjobs to sput crap, or you don't. If the BNP called for the death penalty for jews, I'd like ti think we could destroy them by giving them the oxygen to tie themselves uop in knots and then be beaten by their own idiocy. It's no different to Choudhary. All muslims that I know think he's a moron, who ironically was a far-right's idea of a wet dream.

Why do you think people (of the far-right persuasion) are bringing him up on here?

Only I didn't, you screeching ****er. I asked questions, and tossers like you get all huffy and defensive about something you don't believe in anyway because that's the 'cool' thing to do. <laugh>

It doesn't take any bollocks to post on here, you show that with the piss arsed 'insults' and 'abuse' you litter your ****e with.

It's revealing that the hate and bile from Choudrey, that he encourages to take a physical form is defended by turds like you, yet a tape from two blokes on a bus 10 years ago, means someone else is the devil incarnate.

    What a hypocritical ****er.

He's in prison because he was stupid enough to pledge his allegiance to ISIS on social media.
Really dopey way to get caught, after his previous tightrope walking.

His usual bullshit was to call for Sharia and then explain that gays would be punished under that system.
I don't think that's illegal, though I'd clearly call it immoral.

It's bizarre how he rates Mitcham so highly. It is a proper hole. The lad played cricket near there last Friday and the shared opinion of all the parents was that we'd been dragged to a ****ing ****pit.

Then again, he is from Hull!

Your agenda on that thread was as transparent as ****, you fooled no-one. You rightly got called out on it.

Dickheads like you confuse idiots like Choudray with the entirety of Islam, and while we're on the subject please point out exactly where I defended it, you sackless lying ****e - in your own ****ing time

You're an Islamophobic provincial ex bizzie, with extreme right wing leanings.

That's fine, as long as it is free speech. Look at the reaction from the ladies on here if someone asks about Islam, or dares to point out the words of one claiming to represent it. A cartoon has flags burning, march's and worse, but his words got **** all.

It clearly wasn't transparent, because bigots like you jumped in on the wrong premise, and have kept repeating that bullshit since. <doh>

I don't confuse him with Islam, that's just something dickheads like you like to try and claim.

You're still effectively defending it now, you trappy, terrorist apologist.

That's also patently untrue. I've not avoided condemning him or his ilk. Neither has Tobes. Neither has PNP. You seem to be confusing the right to condemn someone's views with their right to say it. There are many views on this thread that I would condemn fella (and you probably know who I would condemn the most for his views on here) BUT I've never asked for anyone to be banned or have their right to express their extremist views on here <ok>

So let's get this clear once and for all. Anjum Choudhary is the scum of the Earth. I condemn everything he says and espouses. Just like I do the BNP, the EDL and the Nazi thugs. Now let's get back to the point at which they should be held accountable for their actions. I said to you earlier that "speaking poison" is subjective. You can't ban people for that otherwise you end up on the rocky road to state controled thought and ideology. It's all fine and well to say it, but where do you draw the line.

Secondly, the point you made about the far-right I think is naive. As I quoted with the significant minority who have influenced foreign policy in the U.S. that has led to the death and oppression of many around the world. It's no different to the religious extremists who are butchering people either.

I can see where you're coming from there <ok> But I don't understand the bit in bold.

What I tend to find is that some Islamic extremist will carry out an act of terrorism (e.g. Paris) then everyone (genuinely) will condemn it. Then someone (who may be feeling very angry at the time) will come out with something that tars all muslims with the same brush. Some people take umbrage with that and you end up with a fully fledged emotive argument, where both sides become so polarised nobody is willing to back down.

The part about flag burning because of cartoons is clearly fruitloop batshit crazy. Anyone who can defend that is a ****ing plank. I'd happily join you in ripping the **** out of anyone that does that.

So you think Nick Griffin was oppressed when he was taken to court for words found in a reporters undercover investigation, which heard him describe Islam as "wicked, vicious faith" and said Muslims were turning Britain into a "multi-racial hell hole"?

The left in the US, along with Blair in the UK are far from innocent when it comes to death and oppression.

Thanks for highlighting that bit. It's a part some others choose to miss. I certainly don't tar all muslims with the same brush, far from it.

On the thread tourettes is trying to say I had a transparent agenda, I posted that I had been critical of Muslims for not opposing extremists, until I searched and found that there were groups of muslims shouting out, but they got precious little media coverage so their campaigns were limited. The fact I had to search them out highlights the problem they face.

There's also the efforts of the Northern Alliance, that gets little recognition of their stand against the extremists in their faith.

The fact that those opposing don't get much coverage, yet **** like Choudrey boasts about the number of TV appearances he gets, hints at a problem in the media that needs addressing.

Yeh but he was found not guilty wasn't he? The law worked there. Now, let me make this straight before you accuse me again lol, I am NOT an apologist for Nick Griffin. Personally think he's an imbecile. I bet behind the scenes he incites breaking the law through discrimination, but once again, while he doesn't do it publicly and expresses his views of free speech within the boundaries of the law, I'm not going to say he should be imprisoned for it.

BTW the best thing to happen to Nick Griffin was appearing on Question Time. Totally ruined him and the BNP. Like I said, the best thing to do with people like him and Choudhary is give them enough oxygen to be beaten by ideology. Or dare I say enough rope to hang themselves!

I don't disagree with the principles of any of that. What I would say is that it's not applied in practice. For some peculiar reason, any questioning of Christianity, Judaism etc, is fair game, but people leap to the defence if similar questions are raised about Islam.

The law may have reached a verdict on Griffin that you don't disagree with, but should it have been asked to decide?

Not long after the investigation into Griffin, there was a similar undercover investigation into Mosques, and far, far worse was found, but they wouldn't show the programme, or look for criminal charges. It's the same attitude that stopped sex crimes being investigated in the North West and later in Rotherham.

As long as it's a level playing field, that's fine by me, but at present it isn't. It's that imbalance that forms part of why the Brexit and Trump vote occurred.
