    They will have a competition.
It will be who can state the bloody obvious the most often. Jamie Redknapp is currently winning.

I just turned it straight off at half time and will do at full time...I had the commentary on for about 5 minutes before Wilkins stating the obvious and being mellow dramatic put me off so as usual I've got the radio commentary on.

Wilkins commentating reminds me of his playing style....slow and boring.
Sky for all their money should employ proper co commentators and pundits.

I agree with you, Wilkins is as boring as watching paint dry.

    Eatcustard.
Why does Wilkins persist in refering to players as ''Guys'',we know they aren't birds for **** sake.

    Because he is a ****** I guess :)
He just lacks the charisma needed to be a pundit.
send him back to the chavs

but surely anyone is better than Andy 'take a bow, son' Gray who really really really got on my t*ts.He was never bloody wrong, when he was he was shown he was wrong he just went quiet.I don't care who they have as long as he never reappears.

In fairness compared to Lumpard, Cashley and Terry etc Wilkins was probably one of the interesting characters at the Chavski training ground :D

Don Goodmans about the best on sky, but because he want a top level player, he seems to get all the championship and league one stuff. But hes EASILY the best co commentator on sky IMO

I forgot about Andy Townsend and Plank Stapleton.
I also cannot stand Lou Macari. I know loads of Man United fans that don't like him either. Ronnie Whelan annoys me by times too. Loved him as a player, but he whines a bit as a pundit. I reckon sometimes he as a boyhood Man United fan(He turned them down when he was 14 to stay in school) has to make it up to them having played for Liverpool.
    As for the good list.
I like Jim Beglin and Ray Houghton.

Gray and Collymore - Satan's panel. But I always liked Pat Nevin. He's not dynamic but he talks sense. The only media man I saw illustrate how Hodgson was making players play negatively, against their instincts.

    MFG.
And he was spot on too.
One fine example is Daniel Agger. He attempted to stop Daniel Agger from playing his natural game. Agger was furious. Compare that to KD who not only allows and encourages Daniel Agger to play his natural game, he encourages Martin Skrtel to follow his lead. He and Steve Clarke have Martin Skrtel convinced that he has more to his locker than he thought he had. Now thats what I call fantastic management.

I was in a fit of hysteria when i saw them both, to give neville his due he actually talks a little sense and would probably make a decent pundit, redknapp on the other hand should stick to the wii adverts and his wife, i wudnt be lettin her out the bedroom, ever!
