I've no idea what's going on with any other potential bidders, but from what we know so far, Lee seems to be the only one with any serious money.
So despite the Burns' tweet the Lee consortium are still interested? Seems they've gone from we're thinking of walking away to take it or leave it.
He was right, they definitely withdrew from negotiations, but it seems they've come back with a take it or leave it offer with a fairly short time limit.
Let's hope these guys can get it done, they seem to be doing OK at Nice they are top of the league at the moment.
From my layman's view, the Chien Lee bid was the one I was most interested in. Gut feeling maybe, allied with the fact he's already got football investments. Come on Ehab... just **** off will you?
David Burns @bbcburnsy Read this with the Benny Hill theme in your head .. @NewCityCapital group have made a fresh "take it or leave it" offer to @HullCity #hcafc
Anyone have any idea of how the group connected with AP are progressing .. or if they are still interested.. I'm aware they had started due diligence but haven't heard anything since. I suspect if they are still in this process then no acceptance will be made as Ehab will no doubt try to get them to at least match the offer by Chien Lee or am I totally on the wrong tracks
Allams' thought process: 1) accept the offer 2) let them go through due diligence 3) a week before completion ask for another £10m.
Spot on, hasn't twat jnr pulled this stunt a couple of times with transfers agreeing a deal then at the last minute wanting a discount on the agreed fee.
And the worry is, that seems to be exactly what one of them wants. Hopefully daddy still has control.
I might just be clutching at straws, but maybe the Allams have slipped up and handed the initiative over to this consortium hence the" take it or leave" offer, by pissing all the other consortium off so much with the auction they have all walked, leaving the Allams with this the last offer now on the table , cant see them getting there money back if they screw up, as the chance of us being a PL after this season recedes with everyday they still own the club.
My view entirely. I suspect it has more to do with the price offered and whether the offer includes the SMC.
The price offered gives them their money back and it's the only serious offer on the table, if they don't accept it, they should be harassed from now to eternity. It includes the SMC.
