2 great results today, the first one was the great comeback from a young and vibrant man utd. The new comers need a few games but I thought they all did quite well. Young looked sharp and looked like he wanted to win, he was passionate. De Gae pulled off some quality saves after his lapse in concentration. All in all great performance that was well deserved
I wouldn't blame De Gea for the first goal. It was more of a whole defensive unit that went wrong. For the 2nd, it is hard to try and say it wasn't a mistake. It was hit hard, did move a bit but he should have saved it. What pissed me off more was the reaction that the BBC had about it at half time! So VDS never made a mistake did he? Actually, he made plenty of mistakes. So did the Big Dane. There was no way in hell that City deserved the 2 goal lead. It reminded me of the 4-3 game at OT. I remember SAF saying afterwards we should have scored 6 or 7 and he got lambasted for it. But it was so bloody true. There was no way that they should have scored 3 that day and they shouldn't have scored 2 today. But the options we have in attack are stupendous after this showing during pre-season. Welbeck was quiet IMO but still played well, Anderson controlled the midfield very well along with Carrick. Young and Nani were brilliant on the wings. Valencia is going to have to put in some very performances to get back his spot in the first team. Rooney and Cleverley combined amazingly. Nothing needs to be said about Nani's first. But I want to reserve special praise for Nani. I said this on another thread perhaps only a day or two ago. He has beefed up, he throws his weight around and does more than his fair share of defensive duties. He isn't as talented as say Valencia defensively but his commitment and work rate are constantly improving. I'll cite the game against Bayern Munich at OT. He played upfront on his own for the most part of the 2nd half but he never stopped running and chased everything down, there was one point where he must have chased down a ball and won a corner over 50 yards and was about to keel over in exhaustion before taking the corner. He is such a different player to when he first arrived and he is getting better all the time.
agree with you there, EVERY keeper makes mistakes. However he is young and it wasnt a real howler either, it was no taibi lol
It was some Scottish **** on 5Live saying De Gea had a shocker in the 1st half. I was like, who the **** are you? "That was a regulation save. What happened?" asks Steve Claridge on BBC Radio 5 live's full commentary. "De Gea looks like a little boy lost. But Sir Alex Ferguson will need to look after him now at half-time. He's only a young lad." Pathetic.
Do you really think hes gone? I'd put money on it that hes still posting under a different name. Sent from my GT-I9000
Hizmo, you can just tell it's the same guy. Always defending him and writing the same articles and comments.
Lots of people have said he is him for a long time, I personally think they are 2 different people, but both are probably seeing each other. Young love
