Allardyce, would have been nowhere near what I would have wanted at our club, when I look at our predicament I cant think of a better manger to get us out of the **** that the Yanks and Hj have put us in. He would be the only one I could think of who would give us any chance of finishing 17th. Yes Boundy it is sad, but true as it stands.
Lets just hope Matt, that they don't bring in any L1 or championship level MLS players like Bewildered Bobs son Michael, I think that's his name, I just can't be arsed to check. There's two measures coming up soon that will define the owners intent for us and the club. They are the price of next years season tickets and, like you said Matt, the activity in Januarys' transfer window. On Feb 1st we'll all know exactly what our club has become and where it is going. Tomatoes and high-tops at the ready folks.
There is a rumour that Big Sam has already been contacted and if we don't beat Palace, Bob Hope(less) will have his cards....... Personally, I think if we lose "hopelessly" at Goodison, that Bob would be shown the door ASAP and Sam be in charge against Palace....
Season ticket pricing will be interested, if they keep the prices where they are now or hike them, I doubt whether many will renew with the threat of relegation and what price the tickets then, if they set the renewal price in December as usual then will they lower them if we go down for those who are stupid enough to renew..
Wonder if the fall in the value of sterling will cause them to think about raising prices (particularly if they want to repatriate money to the States - a £400 season ticket before Brexit was $600 - now it's less than $500)
To be fair michael bradley (is that even his son? they are both bald) is not as bad as you think. Well actually he's is pretty **** in that his passing is atrocious and he's very negative, always playing the safe pass. He is pretty solid and athletic though so could be good for you guys as a DM because he might actually put a foot in and help out your back 4. The other thing is he's 29 so not one for the future. And did i mention he's really bad at passing so not so much the swansea way...
I will think long and hard but if seasion tickets go up substantially my lifelong attendance at games will be at an end.
A sign of the times if I ever seen one . Reminds me a bit of some of the long term Swansea fans that went to game after game in the lower leagues and got shafted when we reached the Premier . Sad to read a post like the one above frankly
I have to renew for me and mu son and have always done it at Xmas. This season they shafted me by telling me I had to move 4 months after taking my money. next season I will not renew until 1. what league we are in and that is not because I wont go if we go down, but the cost to the sides that will be coming to the Liberty and then the actual cost if we stay up. It breaks my heart when I think I am putting close to a £1000 into the pockets of the people who are killing my club.
My sentiments , although I'm reaching the age for concession rate so 2 things, I'll be hanging on until the end of January to utilise the discount and waiting to see if there is any investment in the squad ,not another player for the future but a full on ready to go PL player(s) , if not then they can whistle , a lot are feeling the same way so we'll have to see.
Martin Atkinson has been confirmed as the referee when Everton meet Swansea at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
I'm worried that Cork's , and therefor the team's , growth is being stunted under Bradley . I hope Cork gets a run of games going again starting with Everton
The will justify maintaining the current price level if we get relegated on the grounds that you play more games in the Championship. My gut feeling is that the prices will remain the same. The owners are fully aware of the fans current feelings and it would be idiotic to increase prices as things stand. Surely they can't be that stupid?
Well they thought by selling the Captain , a proven goal scorer and replaced them with an australian goal keeper and a championship player was the way to strengthen an already weak squad then I 'd have to answer yes they are
Significant is this! And with us coming back from an international break, then you know there can be only be one outcome!!!!...........
