Decent that <ok> I'm going over for it as well, getting a ferry on Friday morning and just going to stay there until Sunday and get a proper night out in Dublin on the Saturday night.

Yeah it is expensive, it costs just as much for me to go to a Wales home game though because of the distance so the cost isn't too much of a difference to me. Crazy that it cost almost as much for me to go to last nights game as it did to go to Austria last month.

I'm gathering that you've been over before, if not head to Templebar on the south side, better boozers and more tourist friendly.<ok>

Nah never been to Dublin to be honest, shocking considering how close it is. Heard Templebar is good but really expensive?

    Lukaku scores 2 against Estonia

    The 7th and 8th goals in a 8-1 win

He was on the pitch the entire game BTW

    Money for fa.

It is utterly utterly pointless game as nobody new is in squad.

There prob is a rule to the exception, but to my knowledge all England managers have done well until it matters in tournaments.

So as mito has said this is pointless and just money for the fa.

Need a cup manager as England coach,is Southgate that?

southgate is no manager at all.

what you need at international level is

    a) proper in depth analysis. you've 2 months to prepare for 2 games. you should know your opponent inside and out

    b) a clear game plan and approach by manager. you need to get this across in 2/3 days

    c) a tight knit squad thats not chopped and changed

if you've got these 3 things you should walk qualification.

The fact is you can tell who doesn't have it (wales) and who does (italy)

As expected after Kane, Wayne Rooney has now been allowed to not bother with Southgate's pointless training

he really really really ****ed up.

this was 2006 when he had a lot of players at his disposal and manage dot let russia take 2nd i nthe group and ended up 3rd

Engladn did not have a great keeper back then probably
you have rooney, neville, Ferdinand, Carragher, gerrard, terry, cole, carrick, lampard, owen (just about) crouch....

there was zero excuse for it IMO.. zero. he couldn't organise a defense with neville, ferdinand, terry and coel.. i mean come on! he played the pakers and SWP of this world etc.
