Apart from the horrifying glimpses inside RHC's mind, this is a very quiet day one so far!

 

Reckon over half players haven't posted yet.

 

Don't think there's anyone ****ed up enough to beat you to that prize.

A fleeting visit today as about to set off on my marathon drive darn sarf.
Not fully up to speed yet but to kill Nev I'd smear him in cheesey chips, force a pair of mustard chinos on him and chain him to a pink seat at SAFC for a whole 90 mins.

 

In true Nev style here is some very brief reading for you guys...

The tragic demise of Nev

Nev sat down at his desk and began his daily routine of writing about everything that happened that day in his diary. Many people dropped hints accusing him of being weird, but the views of monosyllabic Neanderthals did not concern him! He found the process relaxing and meditative - besides it only took 90 minutes every day…

Nev crunched his way through a large pack of almonds as he poured his heart and soul into the pages, feeling his tensed shoulders relax and his mind set free. Events that lasted mere seconds during the day filled pages upon pages of his diary, while committing alternate theories and hidden meanings to paper for future reference.

While re-reading his latest entry Nev’s breathing started to become more rapid; he really was getting better at improving the pace and timing to build up the sense of drama!
He just needed to cover the last couple of hours of the day and then he’d hit the hay.
He noted with some surprise that his heart rate was also up, maybe he was underestimating just how good his writing had become!

Ten minutes later Nev started to get a bit more worried. His breathing and heart rate had not slowed back down, even though he was writing about the sub-par curry he had for supper. On top of that he’d developed a splitting headache and he was only just keeping waves of nausea at bay.

Even though it went against everything that he stood for, Nev decided to stop writing in his diary and leave it for the next day. As he stood up to fetch some meds, his legs gave way and he fell with a crash onto the wooden floor. Why was he feeling so weak and dizzy, the curry didn’t taste much worse than usual?

Nev‘s breathing became more laboured by the minute, and his eyes kept trying to close against his will. The last thing Nev saw before the darkness closed in was a strange ink stain on the floorboard mere inches from his face. The final thought to pass through his brain before it was starved of oxygen was that his memory was failing him on top of everything else; he could not recall spilling ink on the floor… After all, he was very meticulous about his writing instruments…


1 week later - Inspector Morse’s report

It is my educated opinion that the victim was murdered in a well-planned plot orchestrated by someone who knew the victim well.
The autopsy revealed that the victim died of cyanide poisoning, however the method of poisoning has only been revealed during the past couple of days.

Cyanide in crystal form (Sodium Cyanide – NaCN) was sprinkled and rubbed into the blank pages of the victim’s diary, and dissolved (in significant proportion) into the ink in the victim’s pen.

Based on the amount of cyanide on the victim’s fingertips and tongue I have deduced that the victim habitually paged through his diary and licked his fingertips before turning a page.

The standard symptoms of cyanide poisoning would have followed, and due to the victim living alone there was virtually no chance that medical services would have been alerted in time.

A dried ink stain (containing cyanide) on the floor indicates that the murderer poisoned the ink in the mid-afternoon.

Follow up questions to be investigated:
1) The almonds may have been given to the victim by the murderer to mask the smell of cyanide.
2) Who was close enough to the victim to know his habits, especially his writing mannerisms?
3) Who had access to his house, there was no sign of forced entry?
4) Establish the whereabouts of close friends and family for the mid-afternoon of that day.

 

Ode to Nev

Nev sighed quietly as he opened up the septic tank. He hated the monthly check of the tank but it needed doing when suddenly he felt a push in the back and found himself sliding into the tank . His fingers desperately tried to find some purchase but it was to no avail. As he slid into the sludge he tried to scream but a solid lump of **** promptly flowed into his mouth leading to a piteous mumbled “uuuurrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhh”

He desperately thrashed around but this just created waves in the sludge.As more **** entered his mouth and nose with every tortured breath he began to panic. Gradually realisation dawned on Nev that he was going to drown in this sea of ****.

The body was found 2 days later and the Not606 Toon forum (including the guilty “pusher") paid for a headstone to be erected ,at his grave, bearing the inscription

“As he lived so he died”

No need to strap him there for the full 90 mins. Firstly because he wouldn't survive that long and secondly because after 75 minutes he'd be the only person left in the stands.

Bigger all to go on and won't be on after 5 until nightfall so gonna have to go stick a vote now.

6 way vote at the moment is too many for bad guys to hide so I'll be the first to put someone onto 2.

 

Can you double check these? I'm not sure valley has been on to vote. Pretty sure bobby voted for me and mitro had voted jurgen. You have chaos as voting for himself?
