Of course it was, most players come back playing a few minutes of a match first.

Are you saying your players can't handle a bit of training?

3/4 of a game, sort of ****s off your notion of a few minutes then.

Yep, certainly played longer than I thought he did <ok>

What do you think the reason is for England sending him home, do they love Spurs or just hate Liverpool (and maybe all the other clubs who's players have been kept with them)?

Seemed pointless calling him up. He played in Derby game so he's either fit to play or not. If he's fit, he joins squad for both games, if not, don't call him up.

Maybe he wasn't ready for the NLD, it could be that Spurs are so short of fire power Wenger took a risk on his fitness?

Either way I agree with you both, it does seem a pointless call up unless something has happened in between.

Would be huge risk for Wenger to play him... he could have scored a few OG's!!

I think if we beat Ireland in March things will look better for us, but its definitely a must win game.

Nothing against Wales mate, just that family wise I prefer Ireland to win which I think they will, if I'm wrong fair play, its a pity that one, either or both won't be going to Russia because its only one from the group that qualifies.

There's a playoff for 2nd place so technically the two could qualify for the world cup.

The home draws against Georgia & Serbia have made it very hard for us to be able to qualify, I feel like we need to win in Dublin in the March game and in Serbia in June to stand any chance of going through.
