Not knocking it, they bring a lot in through player sales, a huge fan base and commercial activity but to try and spin it as a loaves and fishes mission at Liverpool just isn't the case.
Mate, teams like Saints, Stoke, Everton and Palace spend a 'fraction' of what Utd spend. Liverpool are in the same bracket as utd when it comes to spending, maybe not as much (this year) but by and large you spend largely the same amounts on players

Nope, not £20m. I would have said £4m but I'll accept the £2.7m in that link. Not many Liverpool fans claim we don't spend money. It's usually about net spend rather than gross spend. Personally, I couldn't give a **** about money.
The addons have been added for Mane and Wjinaldum while not for Benteke,he has made 6m,breaking even is fantastic,making a profit,playing attractive football,still in all cup competitions and top of the league is bloody out of this world. With the addition of a Left back he would have a squad of playing cl and challenging for the title...thats super good have spent little to no money.
Quality worse maybe but we've not got the squad for PL & CL. I'm not even convinced on the challenging for the PL part yet tbh
