I have never claimed to be a financial expert, so cannot offer any advice. What I did, worked for me and took advantage of my original property price and subsequent rise in value. Coupled with the fact that I have a trade and seem to be capable of having a go at most things (I actually enjoy building and diy) helped me to get to where I currently am.

I think we will stay up if the Allams sell the club before the transfer window. We have goalkeepers and midfielders coming out of our ears but our full backs and strikers are injured
It seems like the top 8 are on a different planet to the rest of the clubs

I've worked ****ing hard for what I got too. I just don't feel the need to brag about it. It's the "I've got a better life than you" mentality which bores me. If someone has a life that their happy with, then wtf does the property they live in matter?

my step daughter already owns two properties and when we kick the bucket she will most likely sell our property in hull and convert our house to flats. She is a property manager so she has a pretty good idea what's best.

Good for you, believe me I'm not bragging, I have nothing to brag about. Not quite sure how that fits in the context of the thread before you joined in, but if it makes you happy then crack on.

 

Not at all, no need to be. I don't look down my nose at anyone who gets out of bed to earn a living though.

 

Its just the general feeling I get on here. Oneupmanship I think they call it.

I could sell my business and borrow against my properties and do what I wanted with the money but I'd rather leave as much as I can to my step daughter

I think the only thing I've said about Chez Stan is that we DON'T have a swimming pool.

God's Tiddler got into a bitter frenzy about Tobes and NSIS having swimming pools and started throwing windmills at the wrong target

It was Pete and Tiddler who got upset at the slightest suggestion that some other posters may just have done ok for themselves. I imagine that in Pete's world he is king
