Good afty all... Just had to have a go at the racing from Cheltenham today, especially when I missed out yesterday, so here goes... 1.50 - Shotgun Paddy, 9/1 2.25 - Bouvreuil, 12/1 3.00 - Valhalla, 8/1 3.35 - Red Infantry, 9/1 All done in e/w singles & doubles... Good luck to all who play today...
Plenty with chances in the bumper today but I've plumped for Mr Henderson's runner Melangerie (lovely name for a filly). She is a half-sister to the yard's Cultivator who was thought good enough for the big DBS Bumper at Newbury on debut and only found The Unit and Mckenzie's Friend too good. Friendless in the market this morning (but the horse don't know that) so out to an e/w price and I'm sure she'll give a good account here.
Really looking forward to this juvenile hurdle now - definitely one for the notebook. Defi Du Seuil for me with an e/w poke for East Indies.
Indeed STH, a very, very taking debut there in a 22 runner field. Another top horse for the GOAT, ohhh that was an impressive round of jumping.
Quality juvenile that, looks a really nice recruit Loved the way Geraghty saw a stride at the last and said "go on son" - really fired him into it and he came up superbly.
They are having a right tickle with Swamp Fox next at Naas. I like the horse a lot but it's a trappy small runner heat where I will be glad to watch him win from start to finish if he's up to it. Gordon and The GOAT have two likely sorts that look above average too.
I've backed Above Board at Uttoxeter at 12/1 in the 1.05. Did well to win his bumper from a poor position and could be a nice prospect over hurdles. It won't take much winning this race.
Feck that. Drifts like a barge once I backed it. With it being JP/Jonjo I'm pretty sure I've done my dough
Lovely. 2nd at 16/1 when I was certain he would be well out the back with the drift. Get him in the notebook as they say!
Good place money STH EVS for 10L Dex - seems a fair bet I reckon, can see him powering away from them up the hill
