    Cool story Tiddler.

I don't deny I post a lot. Although my posts tend to be short, witty, likeable quips not bollox essays.

Are you and Dull now part of the same club, you jumped to his defence like you're his bitch?!

Been on less frequently as I bought a new site recently. Beats being chained to a desk and sucking off the Irish while they try and sell a failing car park in Manchester eh Tiddler? <laugh>

Of course you did. Coincidentally, just a day after I pointed out how amazing it was that you manage to be some big businessman and still have time to post every 2 minutes throughout every day.

Poor effort - must try harder :emoticon-0136-giggl

This is what will mean the refugee crisis will never end.

Global warming will kill these attempts to prevent drought and soon many areas will be uninhabitable.

So Petes petty papers have no interest to me because there is a far bigger and dangerous issue than whether a lefty gets back into the labour party

I've never said I was a big businessman, that's your bitterness seeping through <laugh>

I do alright though. I certainly don't plan on working to your age or being reliant on someone I loathe to pay my salary or pension. No wonder you're so angry <laugh>

This is how capitalism should work, but I believe that it's currently stalling globally. This is why we are seeing shock election votes and imo we will continue to see these type of protest votes in Europe over the next couple of years.
Economy's are stagnating and the wealth is not trickling down as it should. I read recently that Germany had a positive employment figure, (that's not to say that there aren't people out of work, maybe through choice) with 650k jobs that are currently unfilled. Even with full employment, there is still unrest and Merkel could find herself out of a job next year.

So its time for a population cull. First eliminate all left wing morons. that will rid the planet of quite a few people.

Perhaps we should forget political persuasion and just target morons.

I'm not saying I hate the City either. My point was more about the government interventions.

They should stand or fall on their own merits like any other industry. The bail outs are a sign that the system the City is a part of isn't sustainable.

Do what? Suggest someone's 'expert' opinion may not be the whole truth? Why not ask them why they think thay're an expert on someone else's City?

As I briefly alluded to, what happened was the result of inefficient and greedy management, and cluelessness from the FSA.

As to the bail out, it was unavoidable. I know from talking to friends in The City at that time just how close the whole global financial system was to crashing.

Without the bailouts, in not just the U.K, by the way, it would have crashed!

I agree, but that failure is inherent in the system that the markets are a part of. It's not a criticism of the City.

If he lived there and owns property there he probably knows a fair bit. I don't have a clue what that argument is even about but if you have a better "version" why not just say what it is rather than repeating "that's one version" endlessly, dragging the debate out without achieving anything?

My point was that his version was limited. He and now you confirm as much. It doesn't need any more than that.

It certainly doesn't add anything when you and others drag that out and clutter the thread with irrelevant pap as you are doing.

See my reply and consider who it is dragging out this pointless 'discussion'.
